There LongLeggedLarry was in a swamp. He had been jumping around long distances to make it here, yet, here he was. He sat on a lily pad. A fly flew past him. His fast and long and agile tongue quickly captured a fly. He ate it. Another fly flew by, and again, he captured it with his tongue, and swallowed it down.

Georgette sat up on a tree branch, with all her eyes, and eight legs. Her web was vast. It was an immense web, but unfortunately, there weren’t many flies on it. She pondered: How can Larry catch flies so quickly, while I wait for them to unsuspectingly land on my wicked webs?

It was then that Georgette got an idea. You can catch more flies with honey, and she knew just the Bee to help her. She scuttled to find her Bee, and there he was, with a beard that Sniffler dreams of. The Bee gave her a jar of honey which he had vomited earlier that afternoon.

Georgette slathered her web with her bee bait, the honey. Flies began to swarm, and she went over to eat them one by one, overjoyed, and satiated with her hunt.

LongLeggedLarry sat, but the flies did not come near him and his tongue. Frustrated, he jumped over to a tree, to try to be near Georgette’s honeyed web. He grabbed a few flies as they drew near the web, but he was careful not to tongue the web himself. Angry, Georgette said, “Shoo frog. These are my flies.” But Larry continued snatching the flies her web would attract.

But, Larry made a mistake. While he was busy, Georgette began to expand her web, and soon, Larry found himself stuck.

Larry could not move. He tried all he could, but he was deep in Georgette’s web. He continued eating the flies as they came near, but his legs and body could not break from the web and the honey.

He soon realized that this wasn’t so bad. He may have been captured by Georgette’s web, but as long as his tongue was free, he would get all the flies he could eat.
