I like the manuel promotions of ranks and I don't mind the game levels but I don't like how everyone can see my level.  Let's pretend it's real life and "levels" were real.  Would a thug from LA who knows nothing about me (who lives all the way in NY) know what level I am at in the crime world? 

Suggestion:  Make it so no one can see your rank until you have acquired the experience first.  How would a thug know how high a level a GF is?  Unless from "hear say".

Again, love the change but please make people earn their view of my level and, hell, let's throw their rank into stealth until said required exp.  Get what I mean?

I agree with levels being stealthed but rank? I am not sure I agree with rank being stealthed and if it was I feel it should only be stealthed to those outside of your home city

I think this would be great.

Maybe it could be based on stealth/vision, the higher your stealth the less likely someone with low vision is able to tell your actual level, whereas if someone has goot sight then theyll be able to tell easily if the other person has low stealth

Great idea, but from my point of view many of us would prefer the current system. You deserved to be shown your level after your hard work, that is the point of levelling isn't ? If someone need the minimum experience before being able to see you level, how does this new user will be able to see your level thus respecting you ? Besides it is hard for sponsor to find a associates if this is happening. The level actually is a rough way on how to know how active you are before putting the thrust in you as his sponsor. Just my 5$

I was advised by the help desk that nobody knows the true level you are on as it is rounded up to the nearest 5........... so say you're on level 22 its rounded down to level 20 therefore never actually identifying your true level to anyone other than yourself.

Respect should come through actual rank and not by level, Abnormality. I believe it;s the whole point of separating the two.

Level means you are active, but maybe only a click monkey. Rank means not only activity, but time and trust within the family as well.

Yeah, but from the previous post that link to this, someone suggesting stealthing the rank and level, which I think it is impossible in this thing of ours. But I fear not my friend, everybody can rank, besides the aid of your friend/mayte if they happen to be your CL. The only problem I see from this is it will effect anon/newbies, they need to work hard for themselves, starting from scrath to the top thus eliminating this, what will left for them.They deserve some sort of recognition,do they? Besides the only thing that can help your rank is point which happen to be your level of crime

I would love this if this change take place, as much as you do but with mass of new player coming through the rank joining in , I think it is not practical and should stayed as the current state
