It might be only me, but I disagree with IRC being used to give players an advantage. Many people play that have no access to IRC and shouldn't be left at a disadvantage because of it.

If I have to look at the jail screen again for more than 5 seconds I might retire.

In seriousness though, I love game wide competitions.

The jail break last year was a big success in my opinion, and we should have another one.

But I agree with Slash about the disadvantge to players without access to IRC. Maybe there could be another way to do it.

This is a MR tradition. It has been for multiple years now and you shouldn't even have to ask Squishy. Just like V-Day, it comes natural. I was here last year.. did it for the 24hours and almost died at about 22.5 hours but.. this year I shall push for 24 all the way.

Count me in! As for the all day category. Why not? If you're prepared to turn your eyes square for the fun of it.. you should be rewarded for it!

i thought the old jail competitions were pretty fair. not sure i like the idea where you 'have' to throw 1 jail each round, even though i do understand the justification behind it. i just always say, if it aint broke dont fix it!
