I remember Deimne foggily, but I think my CL during his era was Sidious. Still can't remember my username though. Roman's Chicago was very strong, with like 6 crews but as he was overthrown by his own people I guess his leadership wasn't such.

I can remember Romans Chicago, he was really powerful almost invincible, if he had managed to build a strong bond with his crews he would have been even greater

Seems most people have short memorys about recient events if you where going to look at powerhouse citys Staminas New Orleans stands out head and shoulders above others The orbits proved that dureing the takedown of the city.

And i agree with Tyrion there was nothing in New York after Marston WBed if it was a powerhouse as people beleive they could have dealt with Manius crew themselves without needing Philly to help out.

Rofl, Stamina's NO was strong until the last month when more than half of his city wanted him out, and very nearly staged a coupe. (Granted, a week later the other cities decided we were right and did it for us anyway.)

Alot depends on what you define as a powerhouse.

Is it the big dog themselves who heads the city, the ability to wage war of the city, the earning potential of the city, how they role play?

Stamina's New Orleans was far far far more based on the power of Stamina's gun than the city, the comments about the obits prove that for themselves.

Marston's New York had his cannon but it also had a 4 IWP crew leaders each with a more than capable gun when the going got tough. Both Kurgan and Tyrion ignore how difficult it is to hit an IWP crewleader or an IWP capped person. Could they have done it without Philly, who knows but it certainly made life alot easier.

TheDean's New York was a well oiled warring machine that also earned a hell of a lot of cash that was put back into the city to make people IWP.

Romans Chicago had a good deal of IWP people, it also had the advantage of Jesse James cannon.

Isiah you forget cadoras gun TCTs Gun Immortals gun Hoolz gun only a fraction of new orleans returned fire and it took 4 citys to finish them off at heavy loses New York namely and i dont forget how hard it is to Shoot an IWp Tell me did anyone think New York a threat without Marston? No they didnt, And TBH perfectly honest after Marston WBed the rest of the citys waited for the power play to unfold.

I'm really not forgetting that, actually. Thats why I said NY wasn't a powerhouse. A powerhouse imo has enough people within its city to destroy anyone they come up against. NY had Marston's gun, but not much else really. I dont say this to talk down the efforts of those that were involved in the city, it was still a good city, but very far from being a powerhouse.

Heck, if NY was a Powerhouse then so was flaming Vegas. They had more IWPs and just as many guns - but id never regard them as being a powerhouse.

As I said earlier also, Philly was getting there, but even still Philly is short of the bar that was raised by the likes of SpaceMountain, Roman, Deimne and TheDean.

Imo Roman's Chicago was the biggest powerhouse in recent times, there were at least 20 IWPs in that city, having been involved in planning the takedown I don't mind admitting that I felt we had very little chance of success because of the vast number of IWPs involved. If it wasn't for the fact that a number of people from within the city itself agreed to assist then there would have been no hope of beating them, even with all the rest of the cities helping us (minus Prem, obviously, who had his own city turn on him too at this point)

Like you said though, it all depends on a persons view of what a powerhouse is. Guess we are all entitled to our own views and opinions on the matter.
