As much as i love the coffee shops, i must admit i avoid the largest one.  As much as a bubbling point for gossip, news and discussion it can be every good comes with some problems.

Since i have restarted using coffee rooms i have noticed the silence in some, and remember a time i read in my ancestors journals when both the streets and coffee shops boomed and am confused why this is no longer the case.  Is it about original thought? current events? a limit on what we say for our own safety or just a case of something can only be re-hashed so many ways?

I would say that the addition of the "Crew Chat" (forgive me for not taking the time to try to role play this in a way to avoid OOC) is one of the biggest factors for some areas to be completely silent on IRC Avenue.
