It was spring in the streets of Chicago. My personal favorite season. The season of rebirth. Trees growing their leaves, birds migrating back from the south, people coming back out of thier hibernation from thier homes and once again showing themselves in the fresh spring air. She grew fond of the sights and smells of this time of year. Synergy had lived all her life in a small town just north of Chicago. Grayslake was just a pretty normal town but unemployment had hit hard there and everyone was struggling including Synergy herself.

Synergy had just came to Chicago days ago when she had to attend her fathers funeral. It was a nice service and she had met many family members that she hadnt seen in years. One of those people was her brother Paulie. After the service everyone had gone out to have drinks and reminisce on old times. Synergy had gone out to go smoke when she had came across Paulie. The two talked and caught up with eachother about the happenings of the last few years. Thats when he had taken Synergy aside and asked her if she had wanted to join the family business. Make enough money so that she isnt wondering how shes going to eat everyday or keep a roof over her head. She couldnt resist. The thought of power, money and respect enthralled her. This was what Synergy ws born for. This is what she had been destined to do. Her journey had just only begun.
