Rude, frankly is the word i think that best fits his killer. The very least a 'f*ck you!' or even a light hearted joke would have been more welcome. However sometimes people allow their emotions and the adrenaline rush and excitement to make them act more hastily than they would if they maintained discipline and remembered their victims are people too.

My predecessor was well used to several voices in her head. I highly doubt she'd have noticed a whisper.
