Its a cold day and the snow is on the ground. Its an eerie day and the fog is dense. The Big Apple is still in a relative state of panic as the police are still investigating the brutal murders of two known Mafia Don's ( Though neither of the two actually held the rank, but what does the average civilian know about our world). The first victim was identified as a weird guy, as his attire was nothing close to the traditional clothing that people wore those days. 

He had a hood that covered nearly his entire face, which was an off white hue, and matching robes covering a black suit that was torn somewhat at the hems. He was the prime suspect in the Murder of another Mafia criminal who was identified only by his first name. The guy was stabbed in the neck while he slept. The baffleing part was the man's hotel room door was locked and the chain still in tact. How did the guy get in? 

6 hours earlier....

Its broad day light and the Assassin enters the Hotel that Vincenzo is staying at in Downtown, Detroit. It is an older, run down building, pretty low key, for a man trying to hide. Assassin had noticed that for the last 4 days he had been following him.

" Just gonna give enough rope to hang himself with. Poor guy doesnt even know he had been spotted." Thought Assassin, as he was climbing in through the 5th floor window. He unleashes the hidden blade before he even climbs through the window, so the noise would be muffled.

He climbs into the room through the window and is standing over the soon to be dead body. He ducks down as the man suddenly wakes, his paranoia getting the best of him, he hadnt been sleeping much. The man looks Around for as minute and not seeing the danger, he rolls back over on his stomach and falls back asleep. Assassin stands back up.

"Stupid boy, didnt even think to look down" 

With a flick of his wrist the blade is unleashed and Vincenzo is not breathing anymore. 

"Requiescat in pace" He says as he performs the sign of the cross over the dead Templar

Back to the present

"Isnt this the guy on the picture sent to us from Detroit Detective? 

"It is. seems someone made our job easier. Any witnesses?"

"Only one but he wont talk. Seems the killer put the fear of God into the poor guy."

"looks like our job is done here. Lets go talk to his only son"
