Hearing all the hubbub, chatter and whispers of the general public regarding the events that had taken place in the last twenty four hours, Viagra approached the amassing crowd. Seeing as his Father, a fallen crew leader from Staten Island district, was a casualty of this latest take down, he thought would provide some of his own input to the conversation at hand.

I will keep this short as I am sure that a lot of you older people have a lot of business plans to put forth, and the younger generation have a lot of rungs to climb on the proverbial ladder before their bloodline can regain any of their former glory. As you may already know, my father was the late Wargasm. He was a proud leader in Staten Island and lived each day like it was his last. He knew the dangers of what laid ahead of him and so always expected that one day, possibly soon, that the latest bullet coming his way may be his last. As of April 5th, this was indeed the case.

However, I am not here to preach hate towards the leaders and hitters that took us down, I am not here to swear vengeance on my Father’s grave. No, I am here to show people the silver lining in what is quite a dark cloud. I am here to state that we, as descendants of Staten Island and The Loop, need to focus on the time ahead of us, not the time behind us. So far, except from one incredibly dumb looking troll (trust me, he had a face only a mother could love, and I bet even she found it hard to love that mug), I have not seen a bad word uttered from the families of the fallen, at least not on the streets anyway. I implore that we keep it this way. That we look past wasting our lives to get revenge and look to how we can surpass our forefathers.

This is a chance for new beginnings, not the same old endings.

Viagra smiles at the general mass of people and quickly scutters away, looking to make some money and a life for himself.

Dalton steps forward, tips His hat to Viagra and stomps out a smoke before speaking.

"Well said, and I agree. My father worked with Yours, and would have agreed as well. No use crying over spilled milk. Pour another fuckin glass already!"

He shakes Viagra's hand before heading back into the Post Office He just robbed to.....rob it again...

Dammit.

There goes my big cry baby speech I had planned for later!!

I jest, of course. I couldn't agree more with Viagra. We've all had relatives die in this thing of ours, but each of them knew the price they would pay for leading that life and none would want us to bitch and moan about it. Mourn them privately, move on publicly and build yourself to everything they wanted to be and more.

That is all you can do in this life.
