Irish Rose, the pride and joy of her mother's heart, Gabrielle, tried her best to keep her daughter out of the family business.  She wanted a better life for her.  She had long brown curly hair and the face of an angel but knowing deep down she might not be able to shelter her daughter forever made sure that if anything happened to her she would know what to do and left her a diary and gave her explicit instructions on how to keep her self safe as possible.

Unfortunately the money that Gabrielle saved was lost when she was horribly murdered in the streets of Corktown, Detroit.  She lay in the streets calling out to her daughter praying she would hear her through their special bond that they shared since they both were empaths.

Her bodyguard was guarding the restroom that Gabrielle was in where she was washing her face.  He heard gunshots and ran into the restroom right away and saw his boss on the ground clutching her chest.  He ripped his shirt and pressed down on the wound hard grabbing her hand in his hand.  He leaned down as she whispered in his ear, "Get to my daughter right away and give her this money and make sure you show her the diary and stand by her."

Martin filled with anger whispered back to his boss, "No worries I will take care of her as if she was my own.  Rest now Gabrielle."  He picked her up after hearing her last breath in his ear after he took the money from her and pocketed.  He came out of the bathroom quietly and took his boss home to her villa.  He brought her to the back of the estates setting her on the ground gently.  He got a shovel out of the shed and dug a grave for his boss.  He was really in shock that this war came out of no where.  He didn't know how he was going to tell Irish Rose that her mother was dead.  The two women were inseparable.  The young woman was going to need him more than ever.  He never had children himself because his work kept him from settling down so Gabrielle was his family and now Irish Rose would be his now.

He finished digging the grave and picked her up and put her in the hole in the ground as tears rolled down the man's face.  He then covered her with his jacket and filled the hole up.  He couldn't believe he was burying his boss but he had to be strong for young Irish Rose.  He knew she was going to need him if she had any chance of surviving this life that we live. 

He said a silent prayer and then walked into the Diego Manor.  He walked to his room as it was still very early and took a shower before Irish Rose would be getting up for the day ahead.
