Sic Itur Ad Astra

And so comes to the end of an Aenean journey. Ascanius, the son of Aeneas, is dead; both died for unjust reasons by unjust men. Having crossed through the Mediterranean looking only for peace in his journey, he found that the locals were great people to work with in Manhattan. However, upon DanTheMan’s death, something changed greatly, and they didn’t seem so nice as before. A trusty lion was also killed in this massacre, when all he was looking for was a comfortable place to eat his bacon. Asca was thankful for his friends in other districts in New York. There is much honor to be found there.

Asca’s death shall not be further explained by me in prose, but poetics of a sort might just be fitting:

And to the Hudson River he sailed,

To be with a lion from a prior life,

They starved on this island and,

Had to resort to eating their tables,

But with DanTheMan at the helm,

They were confident to find glory,

With the unfortunate loss of their leader,

They were found in a situation where,

Tables showed they would be their only meals,

Wood doesn’t feed a slave,

When all they would like are tacos and—

Finding those not to be in their future,

Despite promises of contingency being made,

They sought asylum in a nearby land,

However, a spear from the sky came down,

And their future that could have lead them,

To the stars, simply lead them to the ground,

Ascanius and the lion are dead,

And a saying comes to mind,

From a holy text that if a man,

Beats his slave, to death,

He should be punished.

And so were the lion and Asca—

Simply runaway slaves or,

Were they trying to make things,

More pleasant for everyone?

The scrolls of time will tell,

And in the faint distance,

You can hear the lion’s yell.

And if you’re walking around at night,

Fear not an unpleasant prick of a spike,

At your feet, because as he dies,

He simply rises, to help his friends in need,

And all he knows is C.F.F.C., in the original form.

Madness walked passed a man saying something about Ascanius or Aeneas, but surely it was truly about Anuses. She listened to the little song and and dance, seriously, the man was skipping around as he sang his ode about Anus. Madness then continued on her way leaving the man with his back door.

Walking down the street heading to no where in particular, Ox heard a homeless man speaking of his ancestors. One of which Ox knew--not intimately, but enough to feel remorse when they passed. As the man finished his poem dedicated to souls long passed, Ox could not think of a proper reply. Instead, he nodded at the man and as they formed eye contact he realized nothing needed to be said.

As the repercussions of DanTheMan and Goku's death continues to reverberate around the Mafia world I ask this to the person who leaked. Was it worth it? Are you still alive to say it was? Probably not.

Kittyhawk was walking down the Streets when he heard a poem and then people responding to it. As he heard Godfather Desmand's response....he felt a sudden increase in his heart rate. He knew what was going to happen. He was about to go into a trance likr state. The moment he realized that, everything went blank.

Such badass.

Very vengeance.

Much threaten.

Wow.
