The normal is that which nobody quite is. If you listen to seemingly dull people very closely, you'll see that they're all mad in different and interesting ways, and are merely struggling to hide it yet most are open to expressing the madness inside, what keeps the madness in line as left to our own devices chaos would control us all,

and when you sit back and think, without chaos where would the fun be in life as we'd just love to see it all burn

Trixie walks by and hears a comment dropped about dull people.  It intrigues her.  She slows to listen and then thinks ... is it only dull people who are mad inside.  Say it isn't so!  *gasp*  And all this time she thought she knew some quite scintillating people who were certifiably mad inside as well.  It is something to contemplate.  She tips her head slightly and moves on to her day.

The only normal people are the ones you don't know very well. 

Madness continued on her way, tucking her umbrella under her arm. It looked like rain.
