In a rush a procession of cars begins to arrive, limousine after limousine filled with large men in black suits pulls up before a huge newly renovated club. In short order security is highly visible as are the growing numbers of guests and well wishers along with a few unwanted photographers who are quickly escorted off. Red carpet and velvet ropes line the path where guests have assembled leading to a space prepared in front of the club and beautiful blue and green lights adorn the front of the building where Vixtra is preparing to speak shortly on her arrival.

As security takes its place a final limo pulls up to the lines of velvet ropes and Vixtra herself stepped out wearing a full length black gown, high shine black heels and a diamond choker. On each of her fingers can be seen a different gemstone, marking her recognition of those who had made impression on her rise in the world and in honor of those who had placed such faith in her. She passed warm nods to her beloved family, and smiles to those who she had met along the way.

In a rather rushed pace she stepped toward the podium in front of the club, and motioned for her guards to relax as much as possible knowing she was surrounded by friends and family. Moments later she stood looking out over the assembled crowd a tear in her eye she smiled widely as this day had been some time coming, and she had great ideas coupled with many she planned to try to make proud. A microphone was handed to her by one of her assistants and she stepped forward, beginning to speak.

"My family, my beloved friends, and those who have honored me with the opportunities of building a better future let me say plainly and first. Thank you all for your faith in me. In the coming days and weeks it is my sincere hope that new traditions can be started here in Vegas, and that they will be of such a nature that they will be an inspiration to the rest of the world in the places where it can sometimes be seen as needed. 

Let me begin though before taking a moment to elaborate of some long term ideas to make special mention of two people. Firstly, Let me extend a special thank you and my personal deep respect to Godfather Starscream. He took me under his wing, and made me pause and think of something everyone should, in my humble opinion be instilling in each other as best we can. That thing that he made me realize is said so often "Family First" well, he gave it meaning for me and honestly, it grew me up worldly speaking and that kind of thing deserves special recognition. My Godfather, My friend, Thank you.

Secondly, I'd like to mention Rollinblade. I was going to bring this man to Vegas with me, and he was prepared to make huge sacrifices to help me establish things here. When I came to understand what he would be giving up, I, without hesitation released him from his word to join me in this endeavour. Now why does this matter you may ask. He showed something which I value, and which I believe will always be of great value in this thing of ours, 'Loyalty'. Even though it would have hurt him, because he was going to be family to me and had given his word he was ready to do what ever he had to to stand behind a friend. To you my friend, thank you, it will not be forgotten.

Then in my extended thanks let me give a grateful nod to The GodFather Council. I know there have been voices both for and against my rise to a higher level in this world. My bloodlines have a history of saying what they think, and I can only assure you all that I know my responsibility as a family leader is that of diplomacy and putting my family first before speaking freely no matter what I may think in the streets. In short, I will attempt to show your faith in my ability to work with other family heads, those above and below me in our world was not misplaced.

Here in Vegas it seems I have a chance to sit a standard and thus that will be the name those around and under me in my family will bare. It will not just be a family tag it will be a standard. I will do what ever I can to bring back that old phrase which I've just spoke of 'family first'. I'll also do my damndest to instill things like respect and honor, and treat everyone fairly. For now, those being brought to my family will probably be in short order a yet as unselected right and left hand and then I will wait to see the results of the impending events elsewhere before carefully picking those who will work at my side to try to make the world a better place.

These are high dreams and goals, they will require time, cooperation, communication, respect and fairness but I pledge to you all here publicly I am willing to invest those things and work to make our world better for generations to come. I look forward to working with all of you and making Vegas the gem of the west it deserves to be."

"Thank you all, those I do know well and those I will come to know in the days, weeks and months to come for the chance I am presented here today, and more then that thank you for your friendship."

With that Vixtra stepped back, looking over the gathered and greeting her guests feeling rather proud to finally be standing where she was with a chance to do things right laid before her.
