BlackJack hands over a briefcase full of cash to enkindle

Ladies and Gentlemen,

After the success of the 25,000,000 trial event, I have decided to host a more structured event.

This event may or may not become a regular event depending on its success and uptake. Anybody who is wishing to co-sponsor the event should contact me in order to make arrangements.

Thank you all for coming along and playing a few hands of cards.

Good luck!!!

Report Post Tip

Wish I could play, but I work 3rd shift. and 1400 Game is like 10AM my time. I hope you consider making it a little later next time.

Report Post Tip
^ agreed.
the event started an hour before I finnished work :(
Report Post Tip

Unfortunately it is midnight my time. I have tried to put it as late as i can to accommodate for more people but unfortunately I can't without jeopardising my own schedule.

Report Post Tip
wrong time scheduling mate''' look everyone can't be available :(
Report Post Tip

People, please bare in mind that if BlackJack is hosting the event and also bank rolling a good portion of it, he's going to do it at a time where he can make sure he can play. It was nice enough of him to do it at 00:00am his time ;-)

Really hope you get another one set up and sorted in the future BlackJack. Would love to play in one of these.

Report Post Tip

It was a good tournament :)

Report Post Tip
Same place, same time, same deal. Next week
Report Post Tip

Looking forward on winning it :D

Report Post Tip

Whilst I agree and appreciate these tournaments hosted by BlackBlack.

Surely this is more OOC than Announcements?

Report Post Tip
It gets placed in announcements so that everyone sees it I think.
Report Post Tip

Yep, it's only in announcements for visibility.

Report Post Tip

What I mean is if this is going to be a regular occurrence (which it seems to be) seems a bit needless to have it in announcements every time :/

Or can we have a "less significant announcements" ones we can ignore.

For those of us who spend the majority of time playing from our phones needless announcements are quite a pain.

Report Post Tip

Reading "poker tournament" and clicking through is hardly a hardship. You've already spent more time complaining about it and suggesting solutions than it will every possibly waste you.

Also, two times is hardly regular, if it does become properly regular to have tournaments we plan to build a system for it into MR.
