Gambling Got you Down Again? Started by: DelBoccio on Aug 02, '14 02:27

While shuffling around the streets DelBoccio began kicking himself for yet again dropping all of his "spending" money at the craps table again.

Another city, another casino, another pair of empty pockets, he said to himself

If I'd have listened to uncle Tony and invested more wisely perhaps I'd not have to be begging and dogging angry goomba debt collectors.

and then the thoughts began creeping into his head ...

If only there was a way he could muster up the will power to survive ...

If only there was someway to fight the urge to just run into the loan sharks office and blow another couple stacks ...

If only there was a place one could go to find comfort and solidarity in his gambling weakness ...

AHA he shouted aloud as he decided this was his moment to be a hero for the people

I'm going to start this place where people from all over the States from coast to coast can come here and lay down their burden of gambling addictions, where real people with real issues can share their stories and support one another.

He rushed up and down the streets till he found an empty ally way and a few empty chairs he circled the chairs up and wrote a note on the corner street lamppost "This way to solve all your gambling troubles"

He tapped his feet waiting and mumbling under his breathe what he was going to say next if anyone would show.

Sauntering down the streets, looking as if nothing could get her spirits back up, her head was down and so were her spirits.  Sure she was dressed as if she was the best, for that's who she wanted to be.  She wanted to be that member of the mafia that even the Godfather's would look at and say yeah, she'll be somebody some day.  She wanted to be the person that people from other family's and cities would talk to, knowing they would have a good time with her.  Today was different though, she had lost most of her money in gambling.  Suddenly after trudging through the streets for what seemed like miles, she heard a faint voice near an alley.  She carefully approached the man, noticing the sign and the familiar face.

My name is koifishy and it seems like you're in same predicament as I have found myself in today.

Slumps down in a chair.

I won a large amount in poker yesterday and in first tournament I placed third.  Today I went out seeking the same type of win, one that would put me ahead of people starting out like I am.  Sadly, that didn't happen today.  I lost a lot, kept going back looking for that win, it didn't happen and now I'm back where I was.

Cradles my face in my hands.

Fear not fellow gambler ... erm ex gambler ... we will stand united ...

But after hearing that koifishy had played poker and having never played poker himself DelBoccio ran to see if anyone there would like to come to a meeting or had also shared the same bad luck

However it seemed to be the opposite smiles were all across the table as the chips stacked higher and higher

DEAL ME IN!!!

2 hours later broke again stumbling back to the same place were he had left koifishy

Well bud I guess I can really associate with your story now.

I bet ... I mean I'm sure that our odds ... chances ... mumbling a few choice words under his breath

Lets just stick together perhaps more will come and we can overcome this pitfall in our earning.

Perhaps finding charity or a nice bank account would save us from some troubles ...

puts out his hands offering koifishy a brotherly hug

Everyday he wakes up..with visions of 0's in his head

I indeed have a problem and also a story. It started with one 5 and had 8 zeros. It ended with zero.

Stay away from dice kids, except for cheap thrills and chump change. You can blow all your hard earned cash.. or could you get rich.. *twitches and wants to gamble*

Admiral Ackbar came stumbling down the streets after he had a few to many drinks while gambling again. His hair was all messy and his suit had a few nasty stains in them. He saw DelBoccio starting a small speech and decided to head over and listen to what he had to say. Ones he was finished there was only one point of advice AdmiralAckbar wanted to give. He cleared his throat and simply said.

"Never drink and gamble. . ."

Without an other word spoken he took of into the streets mumbling some random shit to himself.

After a hard day's work conning and robbing the honest, hard working city folk, Philip enjoyed spending his evening and depending entirely on his luck, a good portion of his morning binged over a blackjack table. In his line of work, there was no paycheque to be expected at the end of a fortnight. What he made to feed his family with was entirely based on his presence in the streets and his reputation. But a man at his age can no longer keep up with the young blood, the wannabe wiseguys flexing their muscle at every corner.

Philip dragged his scuffed up loafers down the street early one morning after being thrown out of a private blackjack game at one of the city's shadier social clubs catering exclusively to gangsters, mobsters and mafiosos. He toked on what appeared to be the remains of a soggy cigarette, Philip himself reaking of cheap alcohol and even cheaper cologne. He walked past a lamp post with a sign stuck to it reading "This way to solve all your gambling troubles".

Philip believed in being the strong, silent type. He believed that consoling his personal affairs to strangers, or to anybody at all was a sign of weakness. He took example in his father who was a blue collar worker his entire life and never outed a single complaint to his family, even after a head-splitting 15 hour shift at the factory.

Philip decided to venture deeper down the alleyway and hear what the group has to say, maybe something they said could help guide him away from this temptation. Was he going to share his feelings and concerns with the group? Not any time soon. Being as stubborn as a mule is what got him into this mess in the first place.

Charles Pavesi drives himself to Michael Sarino's secret gambling condominium. He walks into the apartment complex and knocks onto the door, Sarino replies behind it;

"Who this!?"

Pavesi replies,

"It's Chucky Flush"

The door gets opened by Sarino and Pavesi is welcomed in. He observes the Durante Network members who would be John Cali, Ray Ferrante, Peter Caponigro along with Mike. He bets on couple of hundreds to the ongoing blackjack game and wins. He stays up late with other members in the condo for another games which lead one to another. Charles manages to make around five thousand bucks profit from the blackjack game at the end of the night. He walks out before nodding to each individual, driving out with his matte black SUV.

GAMBLERS UNANNAMMONOMUS ... erm ... you know what I mean

Fellow down trodden addicts of the casinos, those of you and I myself that even though we have found a way to ban ourselves from that casino for 24 hours and still manage to find ourselves back in over and over again.

I must confess again to you guys that I have been back to my old self at the tables once again the rush of victory was once again realized with the crush of a million defeats and a million of dollars down the drain...

We must remain strong in our solidarity, we must find ways to be wiser with our money, with our investments, find better ways to use our overflow of hard earned cash without throwing it down the sewers.

I will try to attempt to come up with such a business opportunity and perhaps even bring this business proposition to that district as well.

Please stay tuned and please stay strong.

GO BIG AND GO SOMEWHERE OTHER THAN A CASINO!!!

Jaeger walked in while sighing and looking down,

"You see,I'm a bit of a dice addict. No matter how hard I try to keep away from that beautiful button I always fail. I also spend a lot of my money on lottery tickets. I lost a good bit of cash on dice...." He said,He then dug his hands into his hair then yelled up at the air

"DAMN YOU HOUSE!""

Moments later he calmed down and stood there awkwardly as he noticed the amount of stares he got.

"I plan on blocking gambling in 2 days." He says,He sat on a chair and wondered what playing poker was like,He then proceeded to slap himself in front of everyone who then stared at him.
