You stroll through the halls of the abandoned warehouse, where you've been going to for the last week or so. You make your way up to the office, and the old man is there to greet you today, however, his eyes are closed and his face is barren of any emotion. It's as if someone hit the "off" switch or turned him into a zombie. You open your mouth to speak but he puts a finger to his lips, and motions you over. You slowly, and cautiously, take your seat across from him, confused by his new demeanor. But suddenly, he opens his eyes and with it came his legendary smile that instantly wiped away your fear. He reaches across the table and slides the book across the table in front of him. You tilt your head slightly, remembering that when you opened it last time there was nothing but that damned message from Jay. Although, you've become very suspicious of this, you stay silent and you allow him to tell his tale.

" As you know, for four years Jay disappeared after escaping the grasp of The Legion. But, where did he go? And who was he with?"

The man quickly removes an handkerchief from his pocket, coughing violently into it. Although he attempted to hide it, you catch a glimpse of blood on it.

" It is unknown where he went first, where he stayed for a year and some change. What we do know, is that he took his talents on his guitar on the road. In doing so, he met a fine young lady by the name of Isabelle Marie. The two became a duo, him on guitar and her with her beautiful voice that could melt your very soul. She was a year older than Jay was, but she was also a runaway. It wasn't too long till the two fell in love with each other. Now Jay was still angry by the actions of his brother, but isabelle was inspiring him not to live his life through anger and that a life of crime and murder isn't what she wanted. Although it was difficult at first, Jay slowly started to release the anger and replace it with the love he had for her. You thought Jay was violent now, but if it wasn't for isabelle, Jay most likely would've torn New Jersey apart looking for Johnny."

The man slides a picture across the table towards you. You pick it up and look, seeing it's a picture of a young couple at the beach. The girl had to be around 19, spanish, and very attractive. The man you wouldn't even guess that it was Jay by how happy he looked with her. You look back up at the man who smiles.

"Doesn't even look like Jay does it? And ain't isabelle just the sweetest thing you've ever seen?"

He reclaims the picture from you, sliding it into the book.

"Anyway, when Jay turned 18, Isabelle was 19, the two of them moved to Atlantic City. It was here that Jay would train with a friend of his in boxing and wrestling. Jay and Isabelle would also get decent gigs there from different bars, clubs and even playing along the famous boardwalk. Things would've gone really well for the couple, but you can already guess that something would go wrong. Isabelle had a slight gambling problem. I say slight, because Jay was the one in control of the money and she would never cross him. So she would sometimes do songs on the side to make money to gamble on top of the money Jay would allow her to gamble. At first, it wasn't a big deal. Sometimes she would come home happy with a few hundred more dollars than she had before. Other times she would shrug and say 'you can't win every night'. But during one of her games, a very notorious mobster named Jack was playing at her table. In poker, it wasn't his skill that made him win, it was his vast amounts of wealth that intimidated his foes. Unfortunately, Isabelle wasn't one to be intimidated and cleared him out within the first twenty minutes. As she cashed out she, and Jack looked on furious, she just smiled and said, 'You can't win every night!'. Well Jack wasn't a very good sport and so when she was walking home, he and his associates stalked her. It wasn't long before she caught on to what was going on and started running. But one can only run so fast in heels and 20 feet from her front door she was tackled and beaten. Jay heard the commotion and came running out and was met with two of Jack's grunts. He tackled one to the ground, taking out his knife and stabbing him several times before being tackled by the second, whom he then stabbed several times. As he rose off of the bloody corpses of the grunts, he turned to see Jack holding a gun up to him. Jay stared him down, unafraid of being shot, but Isabelle couldn't imagine a life without him and attacked Jack causing him to shoot her. The official autopsy report doesn't say how many times Jack got stabbed that night, but it was enough to make him unrecognizable. Isabelle died that night in Jay's arms and he claimed the revolver that took his love from him. On that night he swore, he would fight to rid New Jersey of scum like Jack and later that year resurfaced."

The man then shuts the book, looking up at you. You stare down at the table, your heart full of grief for him knowing what he went through. When you look up, the man offers a smile.

"Jay doesn't cry over the loss of his lover anymore. He would probably give anything to get her back, but there's no reason to look so sad over spilled milk. In any case, if you remember, he now has Sophia to keep him company. Maybe one day he will love again, but for now..."

The man is cut off by his own coughing and reclaims his handkerchief from his pocket. You look over to the shelf and see a large pitcher of water and a few glasses. You walk over and quickly pour a glass. As you turn around, however, the man has once again vanished, leaving the handkerchief behind on the desk. You place the glass back down and walk over, and glare at the handkerchief. It's covered in blood but seems to be covering something else. As you move it, you notice that it's a picture of a couple kissing on a boardwalk. A soft smile forms on your face as you read the short message written on it:

"Best Regards, Jay and Isabelle"
