I get that you feel they will be accepted by Upper Structure all around but do you think they will be accepted by the greater masses who do not make up the Upper Structures? I ask merely out of curiosity.

Like, you understand the vow that every button man has taken and the oaths they have sworn to? 

The fact is that they're willing to lay down their lives to enforce and serve the rules of their leaders, not just something they might follow if they're so inclined of a Tuesday afternoon.

When rules are laid down by Godfathers across the cities, they will be followed. If a handful don't like them, that's their right. If they don't follow them, that's not their right. For that, they'd die. If they wish for them to change, they're welcome to try and change the minds of the ruling bodies, but if you think a person in leadership hasn't considered the pros and cons of a point already you're being pretty patronising and degrading to them. Our world isn't run by democratic votes and mass consensus. It's run by leaders who... you know, lead!
