I would remember that February has 28 days in it. Kittie should have been protected for another few days.   

Kittie was last seen on 06:01 on the 21st of February. It is now the 2nd of March, and 06:01 has passed. You could say that she could still have about 11 hours of protection left (not a few days?) , but that depends on whether you count the first day, I think.

But to be precise, indeed I was wrong; 10 days hadn't passed yet.
