Back on the streets Started by: Joseph_Ligambi on Mar 30, '15 04:02

It was a cold and windy night in South Philadelphia. The wind chilled you to the bone and the busy streets gave no remorse. It was on this faithful night that Uncle Joe Ligambi had returned to his beloved streets of south Philadelphia of which he used to run wild with his closest friends. Uncle Joe had been overseas avoiding a racketeering conspiracy charge of which everyone in the old neighborhood he was guilty of.

Upon his first night back on the cold streets Uncle Joe had felt as if something had changed in the old neighborhood. Joe noticed that some major changes had went down in South Philly since he was last around. Most notably to him was the lack of apparent Vice in the streets. When Uncle Joe decided to take a little vacation away from the government he would have never guessed that his departure would see the fall of his long standing rackets he worked so hard to organize with his friends and family.

Uncle Joe seeing the opening once again knew what he had to do. Uncle Joe thought to himself he would set out once again to do the same thing he has always done. Organize vice nationwide and try to put money in good people's hands, deserving hands. Joe knew it wouldn't be a hard feat considering he was so well known for his skills in the rackets. Everyone knew good old Uncle Joe as a racketeer. Ligambi had been in these streets using traditional cosa nostra rackets since he could practically walk. Over the years Ligmabi had perfected his Loan sharking, bookmaking and even learned how to operate the most traditional of mafia rackets, the numbers game.

Knowing that the people in his world missed his services greatly Uncle Joe knew that his old ways would be gladly welcomed back among his old clients and friends. The first two people Uncle Joe went to see were his long time partners in crime and friends for life, TonyCappazzo and Scarfo. Joe had wanted to let them know he was back in town and ready to re-establish himself in this thing of ours. In a sense Uncle Joe was seeking their blessings to get out there and earn for himself and his family.

The meeting had gone well and Joe had been given the okay to operate in the streets and had been welcomed back with open arms and open bottles. It was a reunion a long time in the making for Uncle Joe and all were glad he was back in action in his Beloved South Philly.

The world of cosa nostra would once again know the name Uncle Joe and vice would never be the same again.
