The Deadly Dinner- Closed Started by: Murphy on May 16, '15 05:18

The sun was just beginning to set as a group of men and women boarded a lush yacht anchored in the harbor. The ship was set to sail as soon as the last guest had boarded and would not return to dock until sunrise the next morning. At the end of the dock a bouncer stood, his hand clutching a thick velvet rope as he awaited each guests arrival. The invitations had been sent a month in advance, each cream colored envelope sealed with Godfather Tetley's signature teabag stamp in dark blue wax. Fancy cars were pulling up, their drivers and passengers dressed to the nines, envelopes in their hands and bodyguards flanking several of them. The dock leading to the yacht was decorated with lanterns swaying in the salty breeze, a red carpet spread out leading to the boarding ramp where the bouncer Landshark was waiting.

On board already was the godfather himself, enjoying a pre-dinner cocktail as he awaited his guests who would help celebrate the momentous occasion of his anniversary. The celebration would take part on the top deck where he could hear the band and singer warming up as he made to get ready for the fête. The godfather took a look at his watch and stood, placing his drink on a side table as he went to clean up for the celebration. He had to look his best, after all this party was all about him. Upstairs on the deck he could hear the dame he had hired for the nights entertaining as she warmed up with a few songs. Her voice was muffled and he couldn't pick out the words but the tunes seemed familiar enough.

Upstairs Murphy ran through a few of the songs she would be singing as a last minute warm up. The band played low and mellow as she crooned out a tune, adjusting the tempo on a few of them. She could hear the rumbles of engines as the cars pulled up and signaled to finish up so she could get ready. Once she was satisfied with her warm up she hurried down to her stateroom to get dressed, slipping into a long black halter dress and gloves before fastening on her earrings and necklace. After a few more minutes primping in front of the mirror, fixing her lipstick and hair, she was ready to make her appearance on deck.

The guests had begun to arrive as she ascended the back stairs and made her way to the bandstand where she took her place and began to sing. The songs were a mix of slow and upbeat songs that filled up the background as each guest mingled. There was an air of tension as a few of the guests, who seemed to know each other well, struggled to maintain an air of nonchalance. She could tell many of them were putting on a face for the sake of the party and trying not to stir the pot.

Her first set ended and she stepped off the stage, heading towards the bar for something to drink. She caught snippets of conversations here and there as the other guests chatted about the reasons they were invited to the party and what it could all be about.

Standing here all night took a toll on his little shark-like legs, but it was part of the job description, after-all. Stopping people at random intervals to make sure they were putting their guns in the designated spot; for a party like this with people like these, it was better to make sure no one had a weapon that wasn't accounted for. Kept things less messy, and everyone disliked a mess.

It wasn't a very exciting job, and he was sure he wouldn't run into too many problems outside of people attempting to sneak on-board who weren't on the list, but he was paid good money by Archy to make sure that everyone wasn't going to kill each other. At least not on his watch, in a while he probably would never have to do a shit detail like this again, all he had to do was keep everything nice and safe. So the creature aimed to keep it that way.

He was bored, but it wasn't the most boring thing he had to do in his lifetime and he was sure he would survive, maybe he would sneak onto the yacht before it took sail and grab some food. He was sure nothing bad would happen if he were to disappear for a few minutes, but before he could even finish the thought a small scuffle broke out right next to him that he was happy to end.

After he dealt with the problem, he was suddenly no longer hungry. Funny how that works... now all he had to do was wait for the party to start so that he could finally get on board. He was sure nothing would go wrong, but he was terrible with predictions.

John had been asked by "Dapper Dan" Chronic to help with protection tonight. John guessed that having a crooked cop help with security may help keep any troublemakers from ruining the evening. John hated these gigs. If his Sargent at the 51st knew he was moonlighting as protection for a mob boss, he would have his badge.

John began to walk around the dock, waiting for the guests to arrive. He began to think what got him into this mess. He had heard about a sure thing down at the track, so he did the logical thing: head down to a bookie and made a bet. Well, the "sure thing" turned out to be a joke some schmuck pulled on John, and now John was in deep with Chronic. Because of this, John has found himself working for the mob. He turns a blind eye to many transgressions and runs protection from time to time. John is best at leading other cops off the trail if they are getting too close to a member of the family. Since this was a special occasion, Chronic felt the need to knock off a few bills in exchange for John working protection for the party.

So here he is, walking around the docks near a mobsters boat, making sure the place is secure. John pulls out a smoke and lights it, slowing taking a drag and thinks,

"Shit. What have I gotten myself into now. I just hope one of these goomba's has some side work for me that I can do. I'm sick and tired of being Chronic's lap dog."

John would be willing to do anything to get out from under Dapper Dan's thumb. John takes another drag and takes a long look around the dock. He hears car doors closing form the parking lot next to the pier.

"Fuck. Here we go," John mutters to himself. He starts heading back to the ship and sees Crusher next to the gang plank, ready to frisk people for weapons. John was happy he got to keep his gun on him tonight. He didn't know what was going to happen, but he knew it would be a night to remember. John stands next to the gang plank on the dock, waiting for the guests to make it to the boat.

Lillian smiled, her pearly white teeth gleaming in the late afternoon sun.  Perfectly arched eyebrows moved up and down over topaz blue eyes as the girl perfected her innocent doe glance.  It had been a while since the idea of a party had made her nervous, but it wasn't everyday she got to meet a man as prestigious as Godfather Tetley.  She smiled again, then pursed her lips, checking the shine on her lipstick. Even though she'd been meticulous about every aspect of her outfit, she still analyzed each facet and what it would tell others about her. Her sleek brown hair was lightly waved, not outrageously short, but stylish and girly.  Her makeup was feminine, her lips drawn in a perfect bow, leaving her face with a perpetual look of a china doll.  Her dress was creamy white satin and she wore a mink capelet to cover her shoulders. Lastly, her earrings, little cloisonné lily of the valley blossoms dangling below each ear.  While her look was meant to convey innocence and naïveté, her earrings were a subtle hint at what lay beneath the surface.  After on last look into her compact mirror, she snapped it shut with a loud click and looked at her driver.

"Samuel, this is the place."

Lily waited for the driver to open her door, then gently slid out of the back seat. As excited as she truly was, she reminded herself to act slightly aloof at first, so she wouldn't come off as desperate. She held a pearl encrusted clutch in one hand and her invite in the other.  A slight breeze ruffled the fur on her capelet and she was suddenly glad she had chosen to wear it at the last minute.  Her cream kitten heels made dull thunking sounds as she walked up the dock to the luxury boat. Her heart fluttered as she approached the bouncer. She smiled, her eyes wide and full of wonder as she handed him her invitation.

"My name is Lily, I believe you'll find my name on the guest list?"

The limousine pulled up close to the yacht and Zia, more widely known as Connie, glanced out the window admiring the view decorative lights sparkled like diamonds in the night, music was playing and people were beginning to arrive. Connie made a last check of her hair and make-up then checked her purse ensuring her precious photo was nice and safe and frowned a little at having for some reason brought along a letter opener, closing her purse she smiled and nodded to the driver indicating she was ready to get out. Gracefully exiting the car Connie headed toward the doorman, showed the invitation and headed into the party.

Glancing around she admired how lovely the place looked while excepting a glass of champagne offered by a passing waiter when a gentleman suddenly spoke beside her.

"she has a great voice don't you think"

Connie looked a little puzzled to begin with when she realised someone was singing and then realised who the voice belonged to, it belonged to that woman Murphy. Smiling politely she turned to the gentleman.

"Yes she was very good at covering that bum note just like she is good at covering most things"

With that Connie sauntered over towards some familiar faces leaving a rather puzzled looking man behind her.

TLWolf was resting his back to the car, looking at the port and the ships going and coming while smoking his cigar, he likes to come to this spot from time to time to think, it is normally quite here and that helps him to think. His day gets busy as the time goes, there is a lot of things in his mind, his new Gun Shop & The Party going on in his house, many many things.

He was about to leave when he noticed some cars getting into the bay, it was not ordinary cars, it was luxurious ones, and lots of guards surrounding one Yacht, looked like a VIP party.

He decides to wait for a while to see if he can notice anything about that.

It had been a long day, well in fact it had been a long month for Brie. She was enjoying the good life just over a month ago sitting back watching her brother do all of the work and not getting her hands to dirty. That all changed though it was exactly a month to the day actually that her brother had gone missing. He had went out on a quite shady business deal, that Brie had warned him not to go on. It was something for him under the table, and well Brie hadn't seen or heard from him since.

She covered for him though, telling everyone that asked that he was on vacation traveling the world. She wasn't sure how many people actually believed her but to her it truly didn't matter one bit. She had watched her brother for years, running this territory out here in Philly and it didn't take her long gain control of the crew. Sure there were a couple people that had a hard time with taking orders from a woman but their minds were quickly changed when they saw how much money they were pulling in.

Some how though, earlier today the Godfather finally found out the true story of what has been going on with "Knuckles" Brie's brothers crew. Suddenly the massive increase of funds played little part in the happiness of the family. Brie knew she had to explain herself, and ask to further continue running the crew. That being the case though he would have to make her Capo... Which was something extremely unconventional.

There was a party tonight for the Godfather that she was cordially invited too, this would be the opportune time to ask. So she made sure to dress to the nine, in her most fancy outfit. Looking her best she made her way to the yacht. The bouncer waiting on the dock didn't even ask for a name, he knew who she was.

"Evening, Dollface."

It was a nickname given to her, year ago by her brother and it kind of stuck with her. She smiled at the guard and proceeded up to the yacht

The music slowed to finish the last song in the set before a short break and Murphy let out a sigh of relief as she stepped off the stage. Behind her the band still played quietly but for now she was free to mingle around. She'd had a great view of the door as everyone had come in, each person dressed to kill and awaiting the arrival of the last few guests. Tetley mingled about as well as he greeted his guests with enthusiasm.

The first person Murphy sought out was Lillian. She was a dear friend and having her here would make having to be in the same room as Connie a little bit better. She ground her teeth at the thought of the woman, standing over in the corner talking to another guest as though everything was fine. She'd heard the rumors that Connie had been spreading about her, calling her a whore behind her back. It was enough to make ones blood boil and if that woman so much as came near her, she'd be half tempted to toss her overboard when no one was looking. No one would miss her right? Just a quick slip and oops! Bye bye Zia Connie!

Murphy drew a deep breath and kissed Lillian on her cheek. "Good to see you this evening, I heard you were on the guest list, how are things with you?" She stepped back a half arms length and hook a finger under Lillian's necklace of pearls that complimented her darling earrings, admiring the way they sparkled in dim light of the bare bulbs that were strung around the deck. The Godfather had really outdone himself and even though the deck was open, he had still managed to turn it into an elegant affair.

"I'm jealous of those jewels, where did you get these ones?" She said, a small pout hidden in her tone as she fingered the gems one more time before laying the collar flat against Lillian's throat again. "I have to introduce you to someone." She said suddenly, her tone bright again as she turned and herded Lillian over to Brielle who had just entered the festivities.

"Brie! It's so good to see you! I'm glad you could make it tonight! this is my friend Lillian, remember the one I told you about? I've known her since my days in New York we practically grew up together!"

He and his loyal guard FatalityIsAFatty drive to the secret location of the Yacht were the party for Godfather Tetley is being held.  While they drove closer he opens up his briefcase to see it lined with 100.00 bills, recent winnings at the casino and knowing full well "The Don" will be there.  He's the man wanting to know his casino tricks, what "The Don" does not know is he won't be learning any tricks and instead will be losing his territory.  With a slight smirk he slides a pistol into the briefcase and slams it closed looking over to FatalityIsAFatty, as the car turns onto a street the lights dim behind them as they start passing warehouse after warehouse.  No lights at all except for a slight glimmer at the end knowing full well those are the lights of the yacht and parked cars.  The car speeds further down to the end of the docks, guards lined up everywhere including some on the rooftops of the warehouses observing every car and radioing in any arrivals.  The car pulls up behind all the other vehicles, as a guard grabs the handle to his door he opens it and allows him to step out the vehicle.

"Hello Hammer, the guests are still arriving and we know you are expected here tonight by The Don who will be traveling with his niece.  They have not arrived yet but if you would present me your invitation I will be sure to inform them of your arrival".

"You are to never to address me by that name you imbecile! And who the hell do you think you are to DEMAND an invintation from me?! If I want on this damn yacht I will walk right onto it, I have enough money to buy everyone here into working for me! Damn fools".

Crumbling up the invitation and throwing it in the mans face him and FatalityIsAFatty walk towards the yacht, pretty pissed off being addressed by that name as only certain people can call him by that name.  He hopes that this party has some form of gambling on here so he can rob more people, but then again he could get easily distracted by a pretty girl.  Shaking his head he realizes there cannot be any distractions this time! He lost a lot of money to that last pretty girl, but he thinks to himself what a wonderful prize it would be to nab "The Don's" niece.  Indeed she is a rare breed of woman with curves, long hair, hips, and all the best features a man could ask for.

Walking up the ramp to the yacht and holding the briefcase close, he continues up seeing faces looking over the walls of the yacht to see who's arriving.  Hearing whispers of people saying "That's the asshole" or "Don't call him The Hammer, he will throw you overboard".  He grumbles to himself as he holds a bottle of Goût de Diamants the most expensive champagne in existence.  He sets his site to find Godfather Tetley to wish him a happy birthday and present him with the fabulous gift, but before he can head much further he sees "The Don's" car arrive and the first person out is his elegant niece, his jaw simply drops.

Appelsap was getting ready for the party that was being held as a celebration of the anniversary of "The Godfather" Tetley. He was proud to be invited to this big party but he didn't like being on a boats; but he needed to be there, to be seen and for his dedication to the family. This was also a good way to socialize and get his name known in the family. So Appelsap tells his tailor that he needs a good nice fitting suit, so he could make a good impression.

Later that night someone came by and dropped off his suit, as Appelsap tried to put his suit on but it seems that there was something wrong. His suit was tailored a size to big it was too late in the day so he just sent it back and went to the party with one of his old suits. At this point he was already in a bad mood and people could tell. When he walked up to the boat he saw the "crusher" and John_Lazia standing there. They where in a discussion with each other, when Appelsap came walking up they didn't even look up.

"Hey Landshark, Is it ok that I come aboard" he asks just to be sure there where no problem.

Landshark an John took his guns from him and let him walk off, but as he walked away he heard them saying to each other that they didn't get why he was called "the sneak" because he always tried to be seen. Appelsap didn't care though in his opinion it doesn't matter that they talked like that about him like that just as long as they knew who he was.

Appelsap walked into the room where the party was and sees that a lot of people where talking to each other and that almost everyone was already at this party. Appelsap knew what he had to do to get noticed so he walked over to the podium Murphy had just finished speaking and she began to walk off the podium.

"Welcome everyone to this special occasion, we are all gathered here to celebrate the anniversary of our "Godfather", and I see a lot of people have shown up. There aren't a lot of people to stay in this live of ours as he has done so I think he is an inspiration for all of us.

I would like to start to say I'm happy to see Brielle "Dollface" here and hope we all see your brother "Knuckles" again soon.  I also see that Cookie_monster is already here at this party. Also because I heard them talking about him when I got on the yacht "the Hammer" is somewhere around here.

Then there is that beautiful girl over there my niece Lillian, be nice to her she is and will always be "the Lilly" the one I hold most dear. Standing next to her is my other niece Melissa "Little Mel" be nice to her to just because she is family, and then there is the woman we all know here as "Zia Connie".  My aunt MsGentle still as the charming woman she always was.

As he looks around the room for people he missed, he noticed that RemusLupin wasn't at this party and he thought that was strange. Also "Jimmi"and "Dan Dapper" weren't there yet but they wouldn't miss the a party like this.

"Of course Jon and Landshark were at the door making sure we all will have a nice and calm evening without any worries, oh and don't let me forget of "the crooner" who is taking care for the entertainment for this night.

So let us all raise our glass and join me in a toast for our "Godfather" and may many of us be as lucky to reach the same as he did. "

Just as Appelsap was about to finish his speech he sees his brother Archy walk into the party, and he took his chance.

" And there Is my dear brother "the Don" always just in time, Brother take your glass and toast with us"

After this he downed his drink and walks over to his aunt and started talking about there family and making sure that she was alright. This was a good start of the party everyone knew he was there and to be there to enjoy a nice party. So he ordered a new drink and started to relax finally

The yacht was starting to fill up, and the activity of the night events were beginning to heat up. Brie stood in the corner knowing at some point she had to approach the GodFather and express to him and convince him that she was the right person for the job. She knew though in the back of her head this really wasn't the best place to to go about a conversation of this magnitude, but she figured the way everything came out today she couldn't sit back and play dumb... or could she.

She was in deep thoughts when she heard a voice calling out her name. Looking out in the crowd she noticed quite a familiar face walking towards her. Shaking off the thoughts going through her head she smiled and walked towards the girls approaching her. One was her good friend Murphy, it was always nice seeing a familiar face when your caught between a rock and a hard place.

Murphy introduced her to Lillian, the three stood there a talked about random stuff for quite sometime until out of the corner of her eye Brie spotted the GodFather.

"Excuse me ladies but I need to go speak to someone about something quite important. I will catch up to the both of you a bit later."

Archy had just arrived at the deck with his friend Astro, it's a special night, celebrating the old teabagger's anniversary. Archy was thrilled that man has done a lot to him and looked after him well since the death of his brother and gave him a chance to takeover, Archy always felt like he owes him everything for it. He looked to Astro and winked as the two got out of their car, straightened their suits and ties then walked into the deck towards the yacht where the celebration was just held. They were met by 2 guards, Archy tipped his hat at them, as they cleared the way for both him and Astro towards the enterance, as Archy walked in he came across some familiar faces, he stopped very often to greet people and have a short conversation, Astro wasn't much into that so he excused himself and went to get a drink.

"I hope he doesn't drink everything" Archy thought to himself as he grabbed a glass off a tray one of the guards around him was holding, as he watched Astro walk to the bar, his thoughts were interrupted by a familiar voice calling his name, he turned around and smiled at AppleSlap, raising his glass then gulped it down, he put it back on the tray and took another one, as he walked among the crowd, looking for his niece. Archy noticed "The Hammer" standing around some women and laughing hard, he walked to him and patted him on the back.

"Hello Hammer, it's nice to see you here, I hope you're enjoying the party."

Archy chuckled and greeted the ladies, who slowly walked away one after another. Hammer had an angry look on his face, apparently he wasn't happy that Archy called him that name, he replied with a rather annoyed tone

"Hello Don, nice to see you too." he then approached a few steps and whispered "I really would appreciate if you stopped calling me that name in public, that fucking guard out there called me by it."

Archy laughed hard as he patted the guy again

"Okay man, no more calling you that, so how's business been going "Hammer"? I heard you've been kicking it at the casino's lately, and I think I deserve a cut in those greens you've been making buddy."

The Hammer didn't have much to say, he mumbled a few unclear words and raised an eye borrow, Archy patted him on the back and got him a drink.

"It is not good time to take business now, it's time to have fun and celebrate. Why don't you come with me to find Lily? She was excited to meet you today."

Archy didn't wait for a reply, he hooked his arm in the other man's one and walked with him to find Lily, Archy had plans with Lily to be nice to Hammer and show him a good time, may be they could convince him of their deal. As the two walked to find Lily they shared a short conversation as "The Hammer" asked...

"So how's everything going with that accountant of yours "Don"?"

Archy thought to himself for a moment as his face expressions changed, he looked to Hammer and leant in towards him.

"I am not really happy with "Dapper Dan" fella, I think it was a bad choice."

Hammer got worried and asked Archy what was that about.

"I found out lately that a large sum of money disappeared from my accounts, I really need to find that any possible way."

Archy stopped as they arrived at where the 3 stunning ladies stood, he smiled as he hugged his niece and shook hands with DollFace and The crooner.

"How are ya'll enjoying the night? I hope you are having fun."

It was another day and Jimmy left his brothers house in a jealous rage. Looking back at the monstrosity of a house he wondered why he had done so much for The Don and got no respect unlike his brother who was always rewarded handsomely for calculating numbers and putting them in a ledger. What would Jimmy have to do to gain some respect was all that was on his mind.

Deciding a walk would cool him off he started down the street. Walking from South Philly to Bella Vista he began to calm down when a dark figure pulled him into the alley.

"Get your hands off of me!" he pushed the man off of him

"I know you're jealous of your brother and how Archy has treated you in the past. I got a business opportunity for you..." The man continued talking to Jimmy for the better part of an hour and before departing he slipped him a package and a piece of paper.

He took everything nodding stuck the paper in his pocket. "This will be perfect and you can count on me to get this done!" He said as he headed off

A few hours went by when Jimmy looked at his watch he knew he had to leave now if he wanted to complete his important mission. He headed down to the harbor where he spotted the yacht he was suppose to board. Not having an invitation he would be  compromised during his entrance so he moved fast. As he entered he pushed the cop to the ground hit Crusher with an elbow and was inside. Looking around he spotted He than grabbed his revolver from the back of his waistband as he approached Archy and yelled.

"You're a fucking dead MAN!!" he aimed his gun and as he pulled the trigger he yelled "BANG!!" the gun didn't make a sound than he remembered in a rush he forgot to load it.

Looking around he noticed Crusher coming at him took his useless weapon and threw it aiming at Crusher's head and once again he missed his target. Any second Crusher would be in Jimmy's face so he did what he knew best and curled up like a ball on the floor.

It was a very weird sequence of events, one that most nights would have been a simple transaction leading the attacker over the side of the boat to fend for himself. This night was different however and he needed to prove himself now more than ever, it was one quick motion that probably was a tad of an overreaction, but once the neck of the assailant was properly snapped everyone couldn't help but stare at what had just taken place, it isn't every day you witness this sort of thing on an expensive yacht of all places. He moved Archy over to the side and made sure he was okay, before walking back over the now deceased person.

"Nothing to see here folks, just uh... try to... move along, I guess? Also if anyone has a hacksaw handy, that would be great."

In between speaking he noticed something partially sticking out of the man's pocket, normally pieces of paper wouldn't interest him, but this one was different, or maybe it wasn't, but either way he pulled it out and attempted to read it as best he could. After a few minutes of trying to phonetically spell out the words, he gave up, being a bodyguard never meant you had to be very good with spelling.

The people standing around him still seemed curious enough about what it was that he had found, and so he handed it off to Archy so that he may read what it said; maybe he would have better luck.

"Jimmy 1/2 now, 1/2 when the job is done"

He wasn't sure what it meant himself, but it wasn't in his job to care. All he had to do was continue to dispose of this body, so that the people may begin the celebrations yet again.

Remus "Fast Hands" Lupin Consigliere of "The Don" Archy pulls up to the yacht a tad late as he was seeing to some business. Stepping out of his car he can hear a struggle ensuing. Fast hands dashes up the the boarding ramp and past the guards to see the results of the struggle. And to his dismay he see's Jimmy laying sprawled out on the floor like the num-nuts he is next to a revolver.

"What the ...." He looks towards his Don Archy holding a familiar looking piece of paper. "Are you ok Boss? Are you hurt? Can I get you anything, anything at all?" as Remus dust's a piece of lint off of the Don's suit peeking at the parchment to see what info it contains.

"I'm fine Remus." Archy replies. "Just help Landshark dispose of him so we can get on with our night. Ok Fast hands."

"Yes boss, anything for you, my fearless leader." Remus replies.

Remus and Landshark head over to a secluded section of the boat with the new baggage they've acquired, all Remus can think of is how sweet it would be to have been Archy's body that was lifeless on this boat instead of Jimmy's. After all Remus was certain Archy has had it out for him for a while and it's only a matter of time before Remus was the one being tossed to the fishes. Remus ties the rope do the end of a cinder block as Landshark ties the other end of the rope to Jimmy's feet. N off he goes that bum's swimmin wit da fishes. Stupid ass Jimmy he thinks to himself shaking his head, as he looks up to Landshark.

"Good riddance eh?" Landshark says to Remus.

"O.... eh yea, fucker should have thought twice before messing with my boss." Remus mumbles.

Before heading back over to the party, Remus Fast Hands puts on his fake smile and reminds himself that the best way to not end up like Jimmy is to continue to please the Don and hopefully he can gain Don Archy's trust back. Remus wipes the nervous beads of sweat off his head and decides to grab some much needed booze before re-approaching his Don.

Well Archy was just cool and was already on shore, and Tetley well being his yacht and all had his own damn lifeboat in a miniaturized capsule that he pushed that button and POOF insta lifeboat and he just paddled to shore.  And hell the other survivors managed just dandy on their own.

The godfathers boat was a magnificent piece of craftsmanship and had everything and more that one could ask for from a modern yacht in the 1930's. No expense had been spared in its construction, lest an unfortunate accident turn it into a smaller version of the RMS Titanic. Unfortunately even the most well constructed ships are unable to withstand the explosion that occurred, killing several people on board. In the aftermath, Jimmy, Dapper Dan, Brielle, Cookie_Monster, and Appelsap were dead. Lillian, Murphy, Archy, RemusLupin, MsGentle, and the godfather were spared and were able to utilize the well stocked lifeboat to make it back to shore safely.

All had gone quiet in the streets, the radio spewing nothing but silence after the explosion. Many people sat in quiet thought as they waited to hear any news of survivors. Towards the day break a lamplighter who was busy putting out the lamps pointed to a boat that was steadily making its way towards the dock. A cheer rose up from those who had stayed, keeping vigil just in case and the cheers became a deafening roar when they saw that the fear GodFather Tetley was among those alive. The ragtag group docked the lifeboat and climbed onto the wooden dock, glad to see land once again. After a brief hug, they parted ways and each made their way home to clean up, rest, and sort out the bizzare turn of events that had befallen them.

It sure hadn't gone the way they any of them had imagined or planned but, they were alive. The Godfather was safe and Philly was still in good hands.
