I used to be a big fan of the Playstation 3, but I like Xbox Live and some of the other qualities of the Xbox 360. So I guess I would have to say 360....but it's a close call. What do you think?

I have both computers and at the moment I would say Xbox 360 and here is my reasons

Xbox has better online gaming play. Better Games atm and i prefer the controls

However, PS3 will become far superior in the long term and Xbox will fall behind. Plus i am starting to hate Microsoft, take the piss all the time now.

I am beginning to wonder what on Earth XBOX players mean when they say that they have better online play, the PS3 has full online capabilities 256 player games unlike Xbox, full audio support and text support and an online store equiped with demos DLC and themes wallpapers etc. Not to mention a fully functioning web browser, and all for free.

PS3. But that is very biased.. I just love SONY products and will only buy SONY when it comes down to it. 

I owned an XBOX though, sold it for the PS3 and really don't regret it.

250 dollars for a PS3 now, thats a bargain for a high definition multimedia centre with a blu=ray drive and 120GB hard drive.

Plus it's controllers act like a Wi controller it has motion detectors in it, also we can browse the web go on you tube bbc i player. the Blu Ray disk is a lot better we don't have to pay to play online or pay extra to play wireless i can go on but i'll stop now

Yeah 360 blows away any competition. it is the best gaming system.

Why does the Xbox "blow away" the competition? And what are these so called better online features? Please answer this because every 360 fan always says the 360 has better online features, i am yet to see them, just give me a couple and i'll tell you truthfuly if they do beat the PS3.

360 all the way, the servers are better and there are much more players online, of course the online was going to be better because microsoft have been doing it for years, live is a good year ahead of ps3 online. Sony dont have a fucking clue!! istarted off with a ps3 but the lag issues (and dont blame my connection because its top notch!) and the lack of anything just put me off it. Xbox 360 games are better aswell!!!

I have had a Sony Ps3 for nearly 2 years now, and I have a 24MB Broadband Connection, whenever I have played games even now, Battlefield Bad Company still has full games nearly all of the time (im not going to say all the time because no game constantly has full games for everyone) and I have probably only had a lag problem around 2 or 3 times, and that was only when I first got it, the Playstation Network I must say is flawless, always has fast servers and is always updated on time. Also, the Ps3 has ACTUAL game exclusives. Xbox fanboys say well we've got Halo ahhhhhhh. Well Halo is not an Xbox exclusive, as it is available on another platform! PC!!! Not to mention that the PS3 outputs a clearer picture when you play games, Xbox fans don't seem to know this. How is Live a good year ahead of PSN??? What is PSN lacking in? Because I can't think of it. What exactly does it lack? These vague comments from Xbox users are really puzzling. "erm.. well Xbox has better online" "and...erm...more exclusives" "erm... the games are better". PSN has more and more game demos and media services added every week, GT5 enough said (and if you say Forza is better you just havent got a clue) and since game developers like to show off as much as they can who do you think they are going to want to write for? Xbox's pithy limited DVD's or the mighty 50GB Blu-ray??? Also, Xbox has sold 31 million units and PS3 has sold 24.6 million, (i know what your thinking, thats worse) but... Xbox360 has been out for a full year more than the PS3 and only has approx 6 million more sales. Not to mention the PS3 has a full simulated online community with PlaystationHome and the PS3 is the 1st and only system that will be intergrating 3D technology, that doesnt require 3D glasses. But go on yeah i'll have an Xbox. Not.
