The little +'s at the top of your screen connect you to a "Game Popularity Voting Site" When you complete the voting process, we move up in ranks there. The higher ranked we are there, the more new players we get. As a thank you, we give you experience points and cash for voting.
Those of you who click the +'s but do not take the proper actions to vote, are cheating the system, and this is a dishonorable thing to do. We are now tracking all voting activity to find this behavior. There will be times where you accidentally close your browser before finishing the voting, or, the voting site malfuntions, or one of many other reasons why a vote doesnt happen - our tracking script will take this into account so there is no need to worry about the occasional mixed up voting.
We encourage voting to help the site grow, but I can't stress enough how disappointing it is to see high ranked name brand players - to commit vote fraud. We will soon be taking disciplinary action against those who willingly defraud the voting rewards system. I would rather you not vote, than to try to claim XP and cash that you did not truly earn.
