Step 1 · Pick your words
Tell the Lounge what to watch for
Open Settings → Notifications. You'll find two boxes for trigger words — type comma-separated words into either one.
Custom Highlights
Words from anyone
Ping you whenever any player says one of these. Good for your name, your crew, a rival — anything you want to keep an ear on.
MRBot Highlights
Words from MRBot only
Ping you only when MRBot — the game's announcer — says them. Good for unpro, war, credits. You catch the bot's calls without lighting up every time a player just chats the word.
There's also a Highlight Exceptions box — words there cancel a ping, handy for muting a phrase that's too noisy.
Step 2 · How you'll know
Four ways the Lounge taps your shoulder
- SoundA short beep — plays when you're not already looking at the message.
- Desktop pop-upA notification from your browser, even from another tab. Your browser asks permission the first time.
- Screen pulseThe edges of the Lounge glow for a few seconds on an MRBot alert. Shows even while you're looking right at it.
- Unread countA tally on the channel in the sidebar — always keeps score.
— watch the edges —
Some pulses need no setup at all. When you're in the pool for a credit drop or a war hit (a Rogue or Roguette on the loose), MRBot pulses you automatically — just being in on it is enough, no trigger words required. That pulse stops the moment the code is claimed or the rogue is taken down.
