*From the entry of the church a black casket that holds the recently deceased can be seen. And though it takes a moment for your eyes to adjust to the dim light, you see a woman in a black veil place a white rose on the casket. You watch as she wipes a tear from her eye. She lights a candle in remembrance of the deceased and walks down the aisle wiping the tears that are now cascading down her cheeks. The only light inside the church is from the flickering candles on the altar. The candlelight casts an eerie glow across the priest's face. He hangs his head as he starts to read...* "Friends, we are gathered here today to pay our final respects to our friend, Amira. May they rest in peace. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at this time." |

| Lays a single red rose 🌹 on his wife's casket. May you find the peace you so deeply sought. Thank you for everything. I'll raise our children to be better men than me. | |

| Rest in peace. You stepped up when it mattered, and although you may never get the credit you deserve, it was a heck of a run. Much respect. | |

Heavy hearts filled the church where Godmother Amira lay. Blake adjusted the collar of his black suit, fingers brushing the cool steel of the karambit knife sheathed beneath his jacket. A reminder of his place in this world and a gift from Amira. Today, however, Blake needed to shed the cloak of violence, at least for a moment, to honor the woman who had been a guiding light amid the darkness. “Godmother Amira was more than a leader to me, she was a mother, a mentor. She taught me the importance of family. Thank you for everything. Rest in peace, I will miss you dearly." Blake took a deep breath as he gazed at the mourners filling the pews. Some were hardened criminals turned family others were innocent souls caught in the crossfire of a life they hadn’t chosen. It struck him as ironic that in this sacred place, grief and guilt tangled together. |

| RIP, Godmother Amira. You had an impressive run, in the end crowned with the Godmother position. It was an honor for me to accompany you - at least for a little while - on your journey. You deserve great respect and recognition, and so does your decision. | |

You were a star. Very much one of the good gals. As we discussed in our short time. Better to stand on your feet than go on your knees. Enjoy your time away |

| Good run m'dear. While I do not understand your mission to prop up one of the worst leaders this place has ever seen, probably second only to the utterly cretinous Spike bloodline, I can only give props for your efforts to re-engage the community with your writing, however futile it may have been. Rest well, RIP. | |

You will always be a star. The shining light of LA needed a break so it's time to put the feet up and go relax at the vineyard, with a certain someone. Heard the crop is amazing at this time of year. Amiras story, now comes to an end. |

With tears streaming down his solemn face, Tussyy enters the funeral home as he had done many times before. This time, however, it was different. This wasn't a colleague, mentor, or friend. This was HER. This was Amira. This was the one person whom he would follow wherever it was she would go. This was his sister through thick and thin, blood and water, good times and bad. This was personal.... As he approached the casket, he reached into his inside pocket, and produced from it a book. This was his book. The one book he had used from the start to remember all that came before. The book that inspired him, nay, compelled him to come back home. Home to L.A. Home to her. Tussyy kissed the cover and placed it on the casket. He would have no need of it evermore. "وداعا أختي الجميلة والعزيزة. لن أنساك أبدًا، ولا ما صنعناه على مر العصور. معك يذهب النور الذي أبقانا مستمرين، ومعك تذهب روحي." he said softly. Without turning away from the casket, he backed down the aisle of the funeral home, never disrespecting her by turning his back upon her. Quietly amongst the crowd he took his seat, and silently prayed for her eternal peace. Tussyy knew one thing for certain - he would not leave this room for the rest of his days. |
