Despite having a long day yesterday, I feel it is time to come out here and address you all with a few announcements.  As Godfather Gwarble mentioned, not just a few cities were impacted by yesterday's conflict, but our crime world as a whole.  I know that we will all rebuild to the best that we can and continue business like before.

Since This Thing of Ours was brought to these shores, the new has traditionally replaced the old.  Everyone in our business eventually dies.  Most live a short period of time, then some live a long period of time.  Not many can say they created a legacy like Deimne.  A true testament to honor and respect to Cosa Nostra.  He treated those around him with respect and loyalty and they gladly returned the favor.  He demanded their accuracy in times of war and they gave it to him.  A legendary leader with a great following and an even better friend.  

Just like most of us, I had some dear friends in New York yesterday.  I hated doing what I did, but I do not regret it.  It was a business decision right from the start and no personal feelings got in the way.  I was personally handed a bill from Deimne for $20,000,000 due to a few rogue members from my city firing a few shots at members of his.  It was a reasonable request but an unreasonable figure.  I clearly paid the fine and kept it in the back of my mind.  So when I saw an opportunity, I damn sure took it.  With the help of my good friend and former Underboss, Godfather Gwarble, we were able to rally the troops and received some help from our friends in other cities to go on the offensive.  A good number of soldiers were lost yesterday, but they were not lost in vain.  They died protecting the city they loved and the city they grew up in.  For this, as a soldier, you have no other purpose.

So with this conflict ended, I would like to announce some changes within the city of Los Angeles.  With the departure of my good friend, Godfather Robert_Guiscard, to Las Vegas.  I will now promote my remaining captain, DonPardo, to become the new Underboss of Los Angeles.  DP has exhibited a number of good qualities that I see in myself and I fully confide in him to accept this promotion.

In addition, I will set up two new captains under DonPardo - Cruel and Odin.  These men were very precise and accurate yesterday and proved to be more valuable than I had imagined.  I am looking forward to them working for DonPardo and myself in the City of Angels.

Congrats to all this is a very special moment in time

MrBean stumbles into the streets after a long night of drink...baked beans.  He then heard Godfather SpaceMountain speaking.  He listened, nodded, and decided to give his congrats to Cruel and Odin.

First I would like to congradulate Cruel for his achievement.  You will be a fine leader.  Now Odin...What is SpaceMountain thinking?  A viking looking guy, running a crew???  Well to each his own and congrats anyway to both of you guys. 

MrBean shoves Teddy into the waist band of his slacks, walked off and continued to drink his bean flask.

Cruel, Odin -- There is much work to do in this time, after the war, and it would have been quite difficult indeed for the Godfather to have found better people for the roles. Good luck to the both of you as you growt in strength.

Three principle players in Los Angeles getting their richly deserved rewards.

I was honoured to work with all of you during my tenure as Street Boss of Los Angeles and I'm sure you will all rise to the challenges before you now.

Diablos heard the news of new leaders in LA and because LA was so close to his heart he just had to find out who. As he touches down in LA he begins to wonder who. As he drives through the streets of LA he sees banners with Cruel's and Odin's name on. He thinks to himself that those can't be true until he notices SpaceMountain announcing them as new leaders.

Diablos steps out of his car and once Space had finished speaking he steps up and smiles.

"Odin, such a great guy you are. You're one of my closest friends and I am truly happy to see you receive this oppotiunity. I know you will be a great leader and you can run a family easily. I really don't know what else to say as I am gob smacked. I really didn't see this coming."

"Cruel, you also are a great guy. You and I have known one and other for a long time and I just the same as with Odin am truly happy to see you here. I know you'll be a fab captain and you'll do a smashing job."

Diablos takes a sip from his flask and continues.

"I wish you both the best of luck and I can't wait to see what you guys bring to LA. LA is close to my heart and always will be. Just remember I am only a couple of miles away if you need me."

Diablos then turns his attention towards MrBean. He walks over to him and grabs him by the collar.

"Just because you're Right Hand now that doesn't mean I won't still pick on you! I still hate your guts dude."

Diablos snatches Teddy and sets his alight with his matches.

"Thats just the beginning Beany!"

Diablos smiles and shakes Odin's and Cruels hand. He then looks over at DonPardo who's hiding and laughing at Diablos from the corner.

"As for you Mr Pardo. Congratulations on your promotion to Underboss. I know you'll do an awesome job and I wish you all the best brother. And do me a favour and make Beany's life hell."

Diablos shakes DonPardo's hand and smiles.

GodFather SpaceMountain, the changes you are making to your city are in my opinion the best you could possibly due. I have known these three men as friends for a while and our families were intertwined for several generations. Congratulations DonPardo, Cruel and Odin - I look forward to seeing the three of you working as a team.

Circle throws several ribbons into the air and yells Woo. 

Oh DonPardo, I was briefly in your family and from that brief time it was obvious that your family was well-organized and there is no one better suited to being LA's Underboss than you. Congrats Sir. 

Odin, you dork, don't mess up ;). Same goes to you Cruel!. Congratulations dudes.
