She had dropped from her family to assassinate anybody she could hit from "The Regime". Romance did not know her, as she was not from Las Vegas. Rather, she hailed from one of the other, far less significant cities. But west, to Las Vegas was where she was heading. Romance's loyalties had always lied with LarryLongNeck, as they had with Godfather Disorder before that. His loyalty had always been unwavering, even such that he was willing to suffer the humiliation of having his prestigious rank of Consigliere stripped from him in order to serve by his side. Yet, as he watched her enter Larry's headquarters, a silencer on the end of her pistol.......he felt an overwhelming sensation come over him........ like a wave.... his heart swelled..... as did his loins..... She took aim at Larry's head..... Romance's Take A Bullet loyalty snapped him back into the present realities of the assassination attempt as he lept in front of her before she could pull the trigger. He grabbed her by her shoulders.... his strong hands gripping tightly as he looked into her eyes....... "Come with me," he whispered softly to her. "I will take you from this place....." Romance took the rogue by her hand and they fled...... they fled to the countryside and found a small cottage where they could live the rest of their years in peace.... they would make love in front of the fire place. During the day he would split wood... his muscles twitching in the sunlight as he swung his axe..... often times she would watch him from the doorway as he would wipe the sweat from his brow. It was not the glamorous life of crime he had grown accustomed to in Las Vegas, but it was a fulfilling life... a life with her....... he entered the cottage so that they could fulfill each other...... He laid her down on the rug.... his love for her growing stronger with each thrust. His moans were drowned out by her cries of ecstasy....... The morale of the story is that protecting rogues is wrong. The End |
