And, yes, someone attempted to murder me last night.  This attempt on my life was doubtless related to the placing of an $8M hit on me.  The reason?  I had shot "innocents."

Now, it is true that one person was shot dead by me, an impudent scamp who seemed Hell bent on causing trouble for the leading and guiding lights of this thing of ours.  So be it.  I took the shot, and I took it at a time in his life when it is generally deemed to be less acceptable.

I stand by my actions and I would do it again.

And I am vindicated by my actions for, it seems certain, the dead boy was indeed a member of the disparate and ineffectual collection of rogues that have popped up lately.

I was not even in my home city when the attempt was made on my life.  It failed anyway, even without the additional security fortifications can bring.

Rather than buy the hit off, what I propose to do is offer large rewards for the identification and elimination of the shooter and his allies.

For those of us of a certain vintage, it is painful to watch the current generation of rogues.  They seem to be at cross purposes, uncoordinated and unhinged.  They aren't at all entertaining, which is the truest pity of all.

those were your actions and you stand by then which is absolutely fine your in a position for that to be acceptable, in hindsight however do you think thats done nothing but stoke the fire, from what i'm gathering it was for something that was said i'm i right? words can travel through to his father and his father after that whereas if it was a clear and present threat that would be different no?
