| Detroit - A city of respect | Started by: Blunt_Force_Tony on Aug 17, '17 17:17 |

It was a quiet dark autumn night as Tony walked the streets of Detroit. He kicked over piles of brown leaves lying silent on the sidewalk as he made his way downtown. He had been doing more rounds on the streets lately since the city had been growing so fast. As one of the top enforcers to Don Admiral Ackbar, it was his job to make sure everyday business went smoothly. Since this had become increasingly difficult with all the new faces around, Tony occasionally patrolled the streets at night to get a head start. Even though unruly business had not been the case for past few days, his mind was restless. Call it murphy's law, but Tony could not shake the feeling something was about to go down. As he made his way down the last block of shop fronts he noticed a low, almost faint sound of an engine moving closer. As the sound became more clearly, so did the vehicle which was responsible. Tony turned around and found a 1932 Mayback Zeppelin busting through the streets with its 8 litre V12 causing mayhem to the sleeping residents around. “Asshole..” Tony mumbled while the Mayback turned a corner and blasted back into the night. “Some people just don’t have any respect” He thought to himself while wrapping up his round for the night. As he made his way back to HQ to put in his report for the night he noticed the same sound from before getting increasingly closer. It must be the same jackass he thought to himself. Not many people have car like that and not a second one would be driving around at this hour. Just before the car came in sight, a sharp screech was heard as if the car came to sudden stop, right before the tires started screeching again. As Tony moved closer he found a group of thugs laughing in the streets while one of their pals was doing donuts with the car. They were obviously drunk and did not care much for being seen. As Tony came closer to the group he pulled out his famous baseball bat from under his trench coat. He held the base with one hand while laying the tip of the bat on top of his shoulder. “Gentleman .. Are we having fun tonight?” Tony asked with a deep disturbing voice causing the group to turn around and the car to fall silent for a moment. “What’s it to you, mate. We’re just blowing off some steam?” one of the thugs responded. Tony sighed deeply, composed himself for a moment and walked up to the thug. “Just blowing of steam eh.. Do you want to know how I blow off steam?” In one fell swoop Tony swung his bat right into the young thug's arm causing a sharp snap to break the silence. The young thug screamed in agony while his friends rushed to his aid. Before they could reach him, Tony pulled out his Colt M19 and pointed it right towards the first offender. “Not today folks. Leave now or it will be in a body bag”. The group of thugs quickly lifted their friend of the ground while nursing his arm. They quickly moved back into their car and took off. Once the the car was out of sight, Tony slipped his colt and bat back under his trench coat. “Sometimes respect is to be taught to those unwilling to listen” Tony said to himself as he moved on home to call it a night. |
