I know these past few days have been nothing but resentful to us.Some people have lost their money and some people have lost their lives but from my point of view when you become a mobster,theirs only one way in and one way out.

Alot of people have came into the streets to pay respect to their fathers/mothers and loved ones,and I totally respect that but for the sons and the daughters who are bitching about how your fathers/mothers lost your life unexpectedly,you might want to put a gun to your head and pull the trigger.This mafioso is filled with nothing but crime and outrage,so your expectations shouldnt be as if you are going to make it to be a CL or GF,thats only 4 times in a million chance.Do you even have the balls? If you cant handle the work thats given to you now,there's no way in hell your ready for that position.

Let me slow myself down,back to what I was saying,my topic being "United We Stand,Divided We Fall".This is mainly for the families that supposedly have loyal leaders and members.I hear all the time about how different members turn on their family due to either "they dont recieve much spotlight and shine" or "Im going to where the money is at".It kinda pisses me off on how you all(not you in general) bicker about how your loyal to whoever the fuck your loyal to and then you betray them.Havent yall heard of that happening?

I want to turn this into a brief discussion,because I want hear what my brothers and sisters in crime have to say about this.

It all depends on what kinda of leader you are as to how loyal your family are. If you just sit in your office all day issuing orders via your RH and LH then you are never going to develop the loyalty that binds many of us to our families. While families can be big it is not exactly difficult to keep in regular contact with each member. How else are the CL's supposed to decide who will or won't be given their button.

What these member who complain need to realise is that the spotlight is never on them in the first place. They are there for one thing and one thing only to finance and defend their boss. That is the one who is in the spotlight, not them. But that being said it does not mean they are just cash cows, each member has their worth on different levels, some make money well, some speak well, some deal with the dirty aspect of our business well.

What I would say to those who feel disgruntled, before you make an rash decisions, talk with those in your family, the upper structure, don't demand anything for that is not your right. But just let them know who you are and what your willing to give for them. They have already shown that they are invested in you by offering you shelter and safety within their HQ, it is now up to you to prove to them your worth.

If you feel your not getting enough attention, the fault may not be the upper structure, but at your own feet.

Your right in saying that there's only one way in and one way out, i completely agree with you there.

Your also correct in saying that you need to be loyal towards your family and its members. We need to stick by our family, for without them what would we be? What people seem to forget is that they came into this world as your average joe, out to make a name for themselves and that wouldn't of survived much past their forty eighth hour without their crew leaders generous hospitality. Without our leaders and our families we would ALL be laid in one gutter or another, because at the end of the day we are but soldiers in a far larger organization...

Sure sometimes the odd person comes along who rises up and rocks the very foundations of this thing of ours, men and women such as Godmother Marietta and Godfathers Deimne, Spacemountain and Iota, but such a thing is stuff of a lifetime and all these men and women shared one thing in common. They were all loyal to their leaders and stuck by their roots until the time came that they were given their chance to shine.

But also you must take into account the fact that without having the guts to one day stand up and take that which you desire you will always be second best. Look for instance at Godfather Spacemountains recent victory over New york. He grew up in new york, sat and waited loyally until the day came in which he himself became the godfather of Los Angeles and then bided his time until he was powerful enough to take the seat of power. Now this man has an empire that stretches across our great nation.

In conclusion, this thing of ours, whilst still focused on loyalty and honor, cannot progress without betrayal. As stated before the new must replace the old... And with that I'l finish.

The CL's deserve our loyalty, but we deserve proper leadership and his dedication to do what is best for the family. As Black_Devil said if you the leader just sit and issue orders to your RHM, what loyalty can you expect. An old friend of mine used to be stuck at wise guy, he had more earnings, units, and speeches than most of the upper structure, yet he was never promoted. In the end he went rogue.

Finally, it takes a mix of your work, and your CL's leadership to build true loyalty. Thank you for listening.

Thats a good question my friend,but wouldnt taking action go against the chain of command? No matter how you feel things are being done,respect must be given.Would you take action in a respectful way?

Richie I would try to take care of the situation peacefully and respectfully, but if I sincerely believe there is a problem I would try other means.one must have the courage to do what he thinks his right. Many wars have been held over the taxes other powerhouse cities imposed. Let's say your a godfather of a city, and a powerhouse wants to double the taxes, would you idly obey out of respect or do something about it?

Richie then steps back up.

I would obey,only for my family and life sake.No matter what we may think,some things are made to be brought to attention and some are not to be brought to attention.

You mentioned powerhouse taxes,well they MUST be paid.I believe I can use this scenerio,"Lets say your mortage is $1,200/month,you cant step up to your insurance company and tell them to lower the price,if you decide to stop paying then you will be evicted". Same thing applies to taxes,dont pay them they you will be stripped as GF and CL.

In the case of taxes, i stand on even ground, a fair tax is a tax you MUST pay, it is not debatable and out of respect you should WANT to pay it. On the other hand there is a point where it may become far too much, say a tax rate on an established family is fifty percent of the total earnings, that would be reasonable, you should be happy to pay that on a weekly basis, what you must remember is you have been given your own place as a leader of this thing of ours, this is an honor in itself.

a weeks earnings of an established family could be anywhere up to and possibly over fifteen million a week, now you would take a cut of seven and a half million every week. Now don't forget just how much that is and remember who has made that possible for you.

now if you were having to pay out eighty percent plus then it would be unfair, you would still have to take time out of your own busy schedule to provide support and to teach your family. Only under such an instance would i even consider action. Even then i would only express my distaste to such high taxing.

What you must all remember is that you wouldn't be anywhere without these people. Never forget that.
