I will be the first one to admit that Orenda was an exercise in futility, it was nothing more than an attempt to breathe a new lease of life into those who had been rejected by the current regime and attempt to give them an reason to try and play the game the way they want and enjoy themselves causing a bit of mischief once more. I for one enjoyed my two weeks here tearing apart anyone who was stupid enough to try and argue with me however even that came to an end when they stopped replying. I don't blame them though, the smartest thing they could do was to cease all activity against me to prevent them looking worse than they already do and if I'm honest I'm surprised they took as long as they did to catch on.

The whole exercise did make one fact abundantly clear though, if they are to be beaten (aside from a random mass suicide and/or one of their own turning on them) the only way that it can be successfully done is to stop playing. I'm not for one moment suggesting that people just quit and stop playing the game, I'm merely just pointing out that logically the best move to play in the fight against them is to not play.

They feed off other peoples effort, its what keeps the game ticking over. They encourage people to try hard and to put in huge amounts of effort by running competitions to become crew leaders because ultimately if people just gave up and stopped then either the gods would have to step in and/or they would get bored with just their own little clique being the only ones here.

Fact of the matter is and tonight's take down only adds to the many months of proof is that if you aren't in their little circle then you have 100% no hope of achieving anything bar your demise. They control everything and everyone to the extent that the feeble minded sheep who follow them are even under the belief that they are immune to their ways. Look at any one of the many threads in the forums, if any single person is stupid enough to have an opinion that is against them or even mildly pissed off, the whole thread is overrun by people who insult, demean and abuse. They genuinely believe they have a chance of making a name and becoming 'one of them' if they speak out publicly against those who have been demonized by the regime.

Wake up and pay attention to the lies that are spread, to the people who are killed and the control that's exerted on everyone who isn't a part of their group. You can't level beyond wise guy without being vouched for which no one does because they are afraid of being shot themselves if it goes tits up. You can't create you're own crew without being labeled a rogue and removed, you cant build a gun without them collecting witness statements and comparing them to their own little spreadsheet and shooting you if its not to their liking.  You can't join a simple IRC channel and chat without having to hide who you are because they will shoot you if you are caught in it, you don't even need to say anything. You cant openly oppose them in any way because you are labeled and threat and ultimately shot. There are a ton of things like this that are all put in place to create mindless zombies who do all their dirty work for them whilst they sit around barely logging on and getting filthy rich in the process.

Shit its even got the point that just being online at the wrong time now gets you killed. Even once they've removed a crew they take control of the remaining players, they post up a worthless message telling everyone that family members are not to be harmed and then set about killing them themselves like they own the right. They have a set of 'rules' for themselves and they have a set for everyone else and they do not give one fuck about you, me or anyone else who doesn't kiss their feet and follow them blindly and even then when you do, you will only last just slightly longer to the point you are a threat to them or they decide that you have outlived your usefulness. 

Numerous people have posted many opinions, facts and proof to show what they are actually up to and its always denied and forgotten about because there's absolutely fuck all that anyone can do about it. If you complain you are called salty, if you fight you are called a rogue, if you quit you are called weak and if you provide proof of their ways you are called a liar. 

The game is not dying in terms of activity like some others seem to suggest, that is obvious enough, people keep coming back, new players join every day. However as for the enjoyment, soul and morale of the game? I think you just need to read some of the posts that are put up to realise that its at an all time low and its not going to get any better all the time they keep tightening their grip. 

If it was me, with the amount of money they would be generating from one scheme or another or even just taxes to godfathers in general, I'd be converting it into credits and selling them openly for a reduced price and laughing at everyone who keeps on coming back spurned and angry at their most recent death, only to purchase more credits and put in more effort to attempt to try and kill them. Although I'm sure that isn't a reason why they put up with all the bullshit they receive on a daily basis, month on month.

If however after knowing all of that you enjoy putting in countless hours of hard work, playing ball and following their rule whilst feeding their greed and power all the while knowing that you will ultimately be killed for it then by all means keep up the good work however don't expect a thank you for it. I am very much at the same point as the OP and numerous others who have decided its not worth it any more and will hopefully return once they are long gone.

As far as your attempt to wreak havoc and make the most of what you view to be a dismal situation, I don't think anybody who is being honest can fault you for trying to have some fun and stir the pot.  I wouldn't consider your cliq's efforts to be totally futile either.  Taking this to an OOC level was of course pretty lame as fuck but aside from that, you guys felt you were fighting for the good guys.  In some respects that is admirable. 

All of this of course is easy for me to say considering I presently sit at the cool kids table, but I've been on the other side too.  Maybe when Disorder & Co. is gone by either retirement or bullet it will be your pals sitting in the big seat and it'll be all of us singing the blues.  People will be bitching and moaning then too I'm sure.

You're right, that is all I achieved. I will have to assume though that poor old FearlessJ must have started firing blanks seeing as even he has suddenly stopped feeding me.  I like how out of everything I said, out of all the accusations and facts about the regime and their practices that I brought up, the only point you and your crew leader felt fit to argue with me about the exact same point over my posting activities.

It was not a 'cliq'. It was my own idea to try something different and play the game how I wanted rather than be ruled like the majority. It wasn't a gang, a group or a clique (you're welcome) and I don't know how many times I'm going to have to repeat myself before you pay attention, then again maybe its an active decision to continue ignoring what I say yet making up silly notions about the things I do just to smear me. Also seeing as it was MY idea and didn't end up involving anyone else, I think If I chose to say it futile because it was intended to be futile then it was fucking futile.

Whether someone decides to post in the streets or OOC is their own bloody choice and who the hell are you to tell them otherwise? I personally explained my reasoning for my own post being made in OOC and the whole purpose of its existence is to give people the choice of whether to role play or not.
