I've always favored the traditional 4 city MR. I can't imagine why we'd want districts and on top of that Godfathers for each district. I feel that it takes the point away from the title. Being in charge of a whole city means a lot more than being in charge of one district. I suppose it makes sense if Godfather-Chairman is in charge of one city but then it doesn't get rid of the fact there's still 16 Godfathers in every corner making the title seem entirely wasted. Call me old fashioned but I remember a time when there were only a total of 4 Godfathers and sometimes 5. This created weight to the title and makes the occurrences of Godfathers more of an accomplishment. If getting to 60 units is easy now we can change the requirement. Making it 70 or so units for Godfathers. Either way I don't think there should be an opportunity to have 16 Godfathers in this game. That's just crazy. Another thing this can solve is the amount of CLs we have. Anyone can become CLs nowadays. This makes the opportunity seem not as important as it once was. Maybe I'm just becoming frazzled by the number of bolds I see in the list down below. The thing is, when you have more of the same thing it becomes less special, less important, less ideal. When you have less of something it is considered rare. Just an idea Let me know what ya'll think |

A city can choose to work together under one godfather, or be separate who happen to reside in neighboring areas. This allows it to be the players choice. Not every city is run by one person so this allows it to be flexible. As far as 6 cities, it allows competition to happen a little easier since it's tougher to control a bunch of crews than just a few. This creates an environment that makes it more prone to allow diversity easier. The more cls zthe better chance of finding one that is your style. Managing a crew takes a lot of time. If there were fewer crews you would spend more time managing it, and for many, that makes all the difference between MR being a fun game and a full time job requiring 80 hours a week. Its hard to give individual attention when you have to manage 80 people rather than 40. |

I would like to see us explore certain cities having different advantages/disadvantages than others. |

Aye, I'm down for each city having different advantages, but every time its come up we got just a few ideas on what advantages exactly. So, totally up for it, just gotta find a good list of differences to have between them. |

Extra stealth would be a good difference between them. Maybe even to counteract it, extra vision could be added to another city? |

| I agree 100% with Larry here. Just to throw this out back in 2012 when I was getting the hang of the game there were rumors starting in one ciy would give you a stat boost. I've played stealth since then and someone told me starting in Chicago would give stat boost for stealth. Since we're opening up stats to be played with may be something along those lines? | |

I know stealth/info and wack seem to be the go tos I was just thinking if we tied in crime stats to cash earned from crimes, having higher skilled crimers making a better scaling income from actively criming could b looked into for bringing those in line with the "meta" stats Also I'd like to see specialties for the chars based on their stats returned. Defence answers given a boost for wb percentages etc. |

Problem with this Izzy is that most cities are going to take the Godfather boost, I think your vision may work if there was no Godfather boost, going from a 900 gun to be killed by to a 1200 unless its another Godfather is a huge gap. There is not one regime that will reign over the course of the next however many years that would be foolish enough to not take that extra defense required to be able to be killed. I honestly wish we would go back to no districts but it is something you put a lot of time in to and I can appreciate that, I just don't feel it made this place any better. |
