It is no secret that the crime families of Chicago and New Orleans were good friends of mine.  They were there for us in previous times of need, just like Gwarble mentioned earlier.  We were truly reshaping things around the country.  We eliminated the New York threat, with assistance from another New York family, and were on the fast track to start rebuilding.

Only one thing stood in my mind afterwards.  Why was Chicago so resistant to fully commit and help with taking down the powerhouse that was New York?  In the days before, I had discussions with Godfathers Gwarble, Iota and Jim-Levenstein.  While Gwarble and Levenstein were in, Iota was hesistant.  He, like myself, was also slapped with a big fine not long ago, due to one of his bosses verbally attacking a New York boss in the streets.  His hesitation cost many folks their lives, as well as his own members' lives too.

So for me to come out here and say that Iota should have been the only one removed would be foolish.  As iterated by Godfather Gwarble, Chicago and New Orleans were publicly known as a faction.  You wouldn't go knocking on one of their doors without hearing from the other.  So it was best that we were to eliminate them both and not take that chance.

Losing a great friend like Godfather Robert_Guiscard was very unfortunate for all.  He reshaped Las Vegas, with the short time he was there, more than any other soul.  With Guiscard's soul finally at ease, I will be taking in Diablos as one of my captains in Los Angeles.  He was Guiscard's Right Hand man and eventually became the Street Boss for him in Vegas.  It pleases me to have the young lad return home and to help rebuild Los Angeles back to what it needs to be.

Now, that this is all behind us, let us move forward and build on our future.

Thank you for covering your side of things Space. Now I would just like to Thank you for taking me back in Los Angeles. We had some talks and we decided it was for the best.

I come back to Los Angeles with a family that is looking to work hard for us and I am sure I can bring some great things to Los Angeles. Thank you again Godfather.

So in other words, it was your fear that should you go and propose a confrontation with the city of Chicago, that New Orleans would act as the "Big Brother" and cause chaos in your city? Also, while knowing this, still obviously having in your memory that New Orleans was one of the cities that you gave credit for the assistance of your prevailing over NY. Yes, New Orleans was put to an end, but they indeed went out with a fight. So basically, the outcome was no different should you have taken shots at Chicago alone. At lelast then you would have known New Orleans' stand in the situation beforehand. However, that isn't what was done.

Well, Legend. I believe that is their decision to make, is it not?

Why risk the lives of your family? I would think that the Godfathers in question thought long and hard about what to do and did what they thought was best for themeslves, their cities and most of all, their family. At least from listening to the comments from Space and Gwarble that is my take on it all.

That is something that I did not consider and is a point that should give a purpose for their respect, but I feel it was not an act of keeping their families sake. From what I take, it was an act of putting their families' lives on the line to gain power in a place that was considered a threat for no reason. Biting the hand that feeds is not a good way of thanking a city that kept many of your members alive. The same members that they proclaim to have been protecting from these two cities.

Good to hear this, putting up all the facts I have for all the reasons for war, now I fully understand the conflict, its also good to see Godfathers, after a mass destruction in this thing of ours, already making plans and acting strong like any Godfather should act, I'm also happy to see Diablos well taken care of, now I don't have to sit in Philly worrying about him not that he needs to be worried about, but what kind of friend wouldn't worry about their friends.

The ties of New Orleans and Chicago are not speculative, Legend.  They were blatant.  As in blatantly attacking New York together without mentioning it to other cities.  So yes, they were in fact a dual threat.

You are actually very wrong -Legend-, in their failed first wave against New York, Jim-Levenstein missed big time on TheDean who was minding his own business and being great.

What I meant to ask for those who are a little slow on my subject was this. Was not New Orleans fired upon before New Orleans themselves were fired upon. I am not saying who fired first out of CH and NO. I take it from whart Space has said that CH was shot at first. Then, with the obvious prediction of threat from the city of NO, they were shot upon. Put yourself in Jim Levenstein's shoes. If you're family and everything you had earned to build without causing any strife or conflict was being jeopardised by someones opinion of threat, would you not strike back against the ringleader of the family who was not responsible? GF Jim was not attacking, he was defending his family for reasons that should not have played a factor in this war.

If you are defending something you don't shoot first.  Before anyone in New Orleans was attacked, he fired on TheDean who also had done nothing to Jim Levenstein.  So I'm not sure I see the self-defense approach here.

Then this is something that I was not aware of. Hence my saying

Yet after thinking about the subject further, I wonder what kind of courageous leader would have been so eager to attack NO after attacking the very city and Crew Leader that so many have disrespect for in the first place. You cannot sit here and tell me what TheDean did to his own city was anything less than pansy. New Orleans was an aiding city to those who were at war with NY. However they were attacked because they shot at them? In that case..Why did NO take the side of the other cities who were at war with NY instead of aiding NY themselves?

I have the utmost respect for Godfather TheDean.  He has been a valued friend for me since my first days in New York and now out here in Los Angeles.  For me to consider the man a "pansy", would not be fair to him as he as never done anything to me or my family to categorize him as such.

Cruel upon hearing one of his very own members publicly slating a Godfather and friend in the streets. This simply is not acceptable and Cruel is disgusted that one of his very own was bringing attention to his family in such a manner. Simply not acceptable, this bum needs to be taught a lesson.

 So there wasn't plans to attack them the same day then was there?, its been well documented that Space and Gwarble were on a power trip and were going to strike NO and CH anyway so quit with bullshit, what was done was done for power reasons and nothing else and fair play to them, but just remember all Empires come to an end so make the most of it.

As for a small lesson, had the reason been solely based on a "power trip", there is nothing to fault with that. The Mafia is based on power and those that are in power can do as they please, so long as they accept the consequences of their actions. Reasons serve as a thin veil at times, that have seemed to entrapped you into thinking so small.

What is confirmed is that Chicago did indeed shoot first. What is also confirmed is that New Orleans did suddenly hit the streets in force, at an unusual time.

Sometimes those in power must make a quick assumption, for the safety of their own.
