There are a million things that make up the code that is MR.  Sometimes a slip of the finger, a lost thought, a distracted moment can cause problems - especially when dealing with code that is touched maybe once every other year - the toolbar timer.

If the new H: timer keeps beeping at you, use common sense, its probably a bug so contact someone to get it fixed.  It is not some dark and evil ploy to make the game unplayable specifically for you out of some justice ploy as stated in your mass mail.  So please, use common sense when you start spewing conspiracy theories :/ 

Changes are not being made specifically aimed at you, they are being made to correct unforeseen problems with how the certain types of end-game play can affect the rest of the site.  If Barney, the Pope and Chester The Molester were at the top, and the results were the same, I would be coding the same things.  But I am fairly sure they would know that the H: timer beeping was a bug and not trying to invade your brain with morse code signals designed to steal your women while you sleep.
