The Return of The Robot Mafia Started by: TheDonBot on Sep 05, '17 18:08

TheDonBot's eyes snapped open and he took a look around. Sparks emitted from some wires laying on the ground. There was smoke in the air, and the vague shape of a man in the distance...

Opening his mouth to inquire as to what was going on, TheDonBot tried to speak.

"Bleep bloop, blop bleeeeeeep?"

The man that was there with him threw his head back and screamed happily,

"IT'S ALIIIIVE!"

TheDonBot clamped a hand to his mouth, unsure as to why he was speaking strictly robo-speak. He felt like English should have been included in his programming. The man off in the distance approached him, and TheDonBot took note of the man's frayed clothing and apparent state of delirium. The stranger finished his approach, and leaned over TheDonBot with a maniacal grin.

"Stuck on Demo Mode it seems... One moment..."

TheDonBot lay silent, taking everything in. His memories were scattered, not much made sense. He knew he was a robot. He knew that his dearest friends in this world were Joey Mousepad and Clamps - his loyal robo-sociates. He knew that given the chance, he could be a man-bot of great influence. As TheDonBot scanned the rest of what he'd ascertained to be a workshop, he saw two limp forms laying on tables nearby.

The man in the lab-coat fidgeted around with some of the wires in his chest-plate, and TheDonBot felt new information coursing through his body. Knowing that he'd be able to portray his thoughts properly this time, he inquired,

"Where...where are we? Who are you?"

TheDonBot sat up, disconnecting the few random wires that were hooked up to him.

"I am Dr. Mentia. Dr. C Nile D. Mentia, at your service, oh robotic one. Currently we're in my workshop located on the outskirts of Los Angeles. I found you and your associates over there riddled with bullets, months ago... I have been working tirelessly to reactivate you."

TheDonBot nodded, flexing his fingers, patting all around his frame making sure everything was in place. Deciding that everything was indeed in order, he stood up and walked over to the lifeless forms of Joey Mousepad and Clamps. He beckoned for the Doctor to come over.

"Why are my robo-sociates still unconscious?"

The Doctor cleared his throat and fidgeted nervously before answering,

"I... I still need some time with them. Now that I have successfully reanimated you, I think the process should go quite quickly for these two. Please...be patient."

TheDonBot took a seat, and pointed to the assortment of tools sitting on a nearby bench. The Doctor didn't answer verbally, but instead set off to work. The next few hours passed in a slow manner, the time ticking on slower than TheDonBot did in the mornings before his coffee and oil mixture. Finally, the Doctor closed up the panels on his robo-sociates and stood back, waiting. In reality it was only a few seconds before anything happened, but to TheDonBot it felt like an eternity.

Clamps and Joey Mousepad sprang to life, sitting up and exclaiming their shock. Apparently the Doctor was right - the process went a lot smoother for his friends - as they spoke English, and seemed to recognize TheDonBot.

"Eyyy, it's the boss!" Joey grunted, blinking repeatedly as if his eyes were out of focus.

"Donbot! Who is this guy what feels arounds my insides?" Clamps said, nodding in the direction of the Doctor.

TheDonBot grinned and threw his head back, laughing raucously. Now that he and his robo-sociates were once again in control of their facilities, they had no need for the Doctor. Being all too glad to give this order once again, TheDonBot walked up to Clamps and rested a hand upon his shoulder.

"CLAMPS... GIVE HIM THE CLAMPS!" TheDonBot commanded, pointing to the Doctor.

Clamps obliged immediately, clamping the Doctor's throat until the life was choked out of him. The Doctor's limp body fell to the floor with a soft thud, and Clamps squealed with glee.

"Boys... Let's get down to business."

TheDonBot put one arm around each of his closest friends and exited the workshop. None of them were too sure of where they were, or what the future held for them, but they did know one thing for certain... The Robot Mafia...was back.
