I think we should reset and start over.

I think that a player should not be allowed to lead a crew or be Godfather for longer than a year. 

I think if they retire voluntarily at the end of the year, they should be given some kind of status - a book of the Esteemed or something similar - they could keep their earning power, but not their command.

That way, the aim of the game would be to stay alive for a year.

It's kinda difficult to impose a reset on people who joined a different environment before. But I agree that this is a topic worth researching.

Personally I would opt for a weekly "I support my GF" button that would dramatically influence the defense bonus a GF gets on top of the 175 BG cap.

The more inactive a city/district is, the less support, the more drop in boost.
The less happy/safe a city/district is, the less support, the more drop in boost.
The more happy/safe a city/districy is, the more support, the higher the boost.

I can say that I previously worked in Las Vegas, but was 'afraid' of my Godfather. It wouldn't keep me awake of course, but instead of working hard and getting more confident about my relation with him, I felt that working hard would only limit the time my previous character would have left in this world. I think a natural thing among aged members would be loyalty, belief and confidency to/in their leadership. If that would fail, it might make sense that a large group can influence the benefits a Godfather reaps from them. On the other hand, it also makes sense that a Godfather simply stays alive because of being fucking awesome for his city, instead of being efficient and profitable to a few.

The later isn't a sin by the way. It makes sense in a role-play perspective to benefit a lot from your achieved power. But from a community-perspective it makes sense that you the loss of technical challenge is replaced with a social challenge.

Honesty, what´s the bigger goal of the game? Create a reign that is undistructable?

1 year as goal sounds like a really good idea to me.

A bunch of CLs died yesterday and here we are still talking about a reset? Yesterday was pretty much a soft-core reset... lol

No kidding, we lost over 18 CLs and a bunch of other people and you guys STILL want a reset? Lmao

If i want resets i go play a round-based browsergame where i have my two or three months. Then everybody starts over and there is a leaderboard for each round where you can compare dicksizes. However, this isn't one of those games.

That's what i thought at least. Say no to resets.

The last reset was many many years ago, when most of you were in your metaphorical mafia diapers. 

Izzy has said several times it is absolutely not an option, and he will never consider it. Not just recently, he's been saying it for about a decade now.

If you want a reset, get to the top, and then kill everyone. Then retire.
