One thing is for sure, the Disorder regime needs written about properly - no bullshit and smears, just an honest recounting and, if at all possible, with access to his journals and his thoughts and ideas.

I agree with Kuku here.
What is your aim here, Pickel-Rick? Trying to get a vote of popularity, want to know which side the majority of the population leans to? To what end?

I have no problem admitting that I found a lot of the actions endorsed by Godfather Disorder despicable. But if I'm honest there are not many lineages around here that I would describe more talent too. My lineage got the bullet a few times during his reign, some I would say were undeserved, others were... well, okay, my father's approach wasn't perfect perhaps. While what must have been an enormous drop in challenge business-wise and while this community also lacked massive amounts of constructive dialogue - his activity was still much more impressive than any other Godfather we have seen in recent years. It's sad that debates, understandably, often turned into mudfights, but he would be a pretty cool sparring partner to have a conversation with on equal terms.

Did I like his added flavour or danger, marking retards and the likes?
No, not at all. They felt like tools that pushed conversations in directions they didn't need to go.

But regarddless I can understand why people who weren't hurt under his reign, are appreciative of who he was. Personally I'm just disappointed that with all his talent he didn't manage to find a more subtle way to stay in power this longer.

But today, the loyalty people have towards him is irrelevant, or atleast I hope. The events of the last week are a clear indication that there is pressure on our community. To me it makes sense that we try to see past the names and move towards an environment that's beneficial towards all of us, without that meaning we all become winners. That's simply not how competition works after all.

So let's kill each other in that environment. For the right reasons.
And let's have dialogues in that environment. With the right arguments. Without needing to kill each other because we disagree.
Let's compete. Let's submit to those who win. And let's show that bit of decency for those who lost, without that it needs to hurt you as a winner.

Loyalty to Disorder or whoever is irrelevant. While acknowledging his talent and relevancy in the past, if we dwindle on that, we wouldn't be moving forward and there really is no reason to stand still or walk backwards any longer.
