Is there a time when Family business should be brought to the streets, I think so. No it is not when a family declares war on another. That is strictly family business. There are two situations though that demands a street response. The first is when a family head is killed and the leaders come out and say no one under wise guy will be killed from the dead leaders family. If there is definative proof that someone killed a "protected" person the punishment should be publicized as an example to others not to shoot. I have watched numerous family members of dead leaders die. It continues because no one believes they will be punished. Same as with the 48 hour rule, violaters should be publically punished as a warning to others. If a leader comes to the street to give a warning, then the leader should show that they are serious about backing it up. Otherwise people will just think it is all words and no action. As we have seen these "prohibited" action continue. The last occurance just over a half hour ago. Words without actions are meaningless. Before you say that it is handled internally, I will say if it is solely internal it gives the perception that nothing is done. And perception is reality. And the reality is nothing is done. It is my opinion that if a person comes to the streetsand makes an all emcompaasing rule, the person should come to the streets and show enforcement. |
