Fugitives Paradise reopening! Started by: Harvey on Sep 11, '17 22:02
Harvey walks down the street to a address written in his note book passed down from generation to generation, he unlocks the doors and steps into the building, taking a breath he chokes on all the dust.

It's been a long time since this place was last opened up, he got onto the phone to some contractors he knew from his great grandfathers business, laid out his plans and hung up.

A month later the place was looking like the hottest spot in town, red velvet carpet outside, and a big neon sign flashes above the double Ivory doors.
Harvey pushed the doors open and walked inside, the air was filled with cigar smoke and the smell of hard alcohol, you'd get the occasional whiff of cannabis, the floor was covered in a dark blue carpet, the walls lined with golden wall lights with a beautiful Crystal chandelier hung in the center

Harvey walks up to the marble bar and took a seat, looking around and smiling he raises his glass in the air before gulping it all down...

"WE'RE BACK IN BUSINESS BABY!"

Frank saw a new business in the motor city he always wondered why so many auto manufactures came to one city but then seeing the waterways and train stations he understood the conveyance of being in this location.  Frank wished he got into that business as an investment.  He took a seat at the bar and ordered a shot of remi martin.

He raised his glass to the grand opening of Harvey's business venture.

Ravi walked in the building, excited to see husband good friend Harvey. He had gotten the word that he had just recently re-opened a family venture.

As he walked in, something was off, almost abnormal. At first, he didn't know what it was, but he noticed quickly enough.

"Are you fucking high mate?"

After recently moving to Detroit , Manny was out and about every night exploring his new home town. While walking down main street he saw bright neon lights highlighting the pavements worn exterior.

"Didn't one of the lads mention this was Harvey's place. Red velvet, ivory handles. Let's go have a look."

Strolling in excitedly Manny spots a barman and walks up to him with intent. " BARMAN !  Give me 2 shots each of your 3 best Brandy's. And the glasses better be full! " Manny gave a malicious smile as he made the order.

"Is the owner around?" he asked Inquiringly

Harvey walked out from the back room and out into the bar, seeing the place slowly filling up, he walks over to Frank-Dicaprio

"good evening sir, thank you for coming on this grand day, please, help yourself to any of the women here..."

Harvey pats him on the back and heads over to The_Kid and laughs as he catches the end of his sentence

"Haha, actually no, I'm not high, I needed a clear mind to make sure that everything went well with the opening of this place"

Harvey grabs a glass of whiskey and necks it back, feeling the burn in his chest as another customer walks through the door asking for him he turns around and sees Manny_Mo

"Hey there man! How's it going!? You need anything?"

Intrigued by the flashiness that emitted from the fugitives paradise.  Wrench walked into the lively spot and headed straight to the bar. He beckon'd at the bartender, then pointed towards the expensive bottle of Irish whiskey and gestured 'two' with his fingers. Upon receiving the two shots Wrench gulped down the first and held the second. He occasionally glances at the others in the bar reading their lips, all the while minding his own business pretending to enjoy the background music he could not hear.

Now that Tommy had settled down in Detroit he figured he better go around the city and take a look at some of the more famous establishments. It wasn't long before a man pointed him to this place. From the man's lip stick stained collar, unruly hair and booze stenched breath , Tommy had some idea of what the place might be, but he decided it was better to be prudent about his approach.

He walked in and stood in a corner as he took in his surroundings. Lighting a cigarette, he waited for someone he could talk to about getting a drink . As his eyes darted over the place he spotted a sharply dressed mafioso holding court, socializing with the guests. He realized this must be the owner and he nodded in acknowledgement when their eyes met.
