After leaving Tobias' party, Kharon asked the driver to pick up the pace. He wanted to be home in time for his one year anniversary in this world.

Before leaving Las Vegas, he asked his personal chef to prepare an outstanding buffet, one which everyone would be invited to attend. In his head he was repeating the dishes he told his cook to make and he was hoping everything would be done and finished in time.

Half way back to Las Vegas, his driver had to refuel. So they stopped at a local gas station near Denver Colorado. Kharon saw this station had a telephone line and hurried out of his car to make a call. Protector, his head bodyguard, quickly looked around to be sure there were no people around carrying guns or knifes. Kharon smiled. Protector was always "protecting" his boss and Kharon really liked the guy.

He picked up the phone and told the operator to put him through to The Golden Bough Headquarters in The Strip Las Vegas. 

"Goodevening, JacobtheFirst here, how can I help you"
"Hey Jacob, Kharon here. How are the preparations for dinner going?"

There was a little silence on the other end of the phone and Kharon thought he lost contact.

"HELLO", he shouted.

"I am here Kharon", Jacob answered. "Everything is fine here, the cook has been ordering everyone around and it seems that the food will be ready in time. Just get here fast so the celebrations can start".

Satisfied with this answer, Kharon stepped back in the car and ordered the driver to get on the road again.

A few hours later they arrived at the Golden Bough Headquarters, where he saw the balloon arch at the entrance and smiled. The driver parked the car at the back entrance and Kharon quickly ran to his room and took a quick shower. His tuxido was already laying on his bed and after getting dressed, he looked in the mirror, satisfied with his appearance.

Climbing down the stair, he already saw quite a few people gathered in the hall and the dining room. At the door Zmeika was giving out glasses of Prosecco. He took one glass from her and walked into the dining room. 

"Good evening everyone,

I am glad you could all make it to my one year anniversary in this world. I see you have all been given a glass of Prosecco. The finest from Italy, imported for this occasion.

In a few moments the buffet dinner will be opened and I am glad to share this fine food with all of you. You will see some Italian dishes, but also a few exclusive dishes. My cook went on a trip to visit his cousin in Europe and learned some exotic and exciting dishes there. But I will let that be a suprise and I hope you will all enjoy the fine buffet dinner today."

Kharon raised his glass.

"Cheers and may this be a fantastic evening."

Quijote looks at his own bloodline and his jaw drops..

Admitting about 11 were neglectable, he counted 31 generations of his family before him that were born and died since Kharon first came to this world.

An achievement in itself. My congratulations, Kharon

"Wow, everything here looks fantastic. The food, the drinks, everything." Dean said in his mind. 

Dean wanted to approach Kharon to congratulate him personally so, he did.

"Congratulations Mr. Kharon on your anniversary, I hope you have a great time here with your friends and family."

Dean then raised his glass and gave cheers to everybody else.

Nikki was a bit excited...two anniversary parties in a week! Raising a glass, she toasted the Godfather Chairman. 

"Congratulations, this is an amazing achievement, Kharon!" She said with a respectful nod before draining the contents of her glass. 

As he saw Godfather Kharon rasing his glass, the thought crossed his mind. This moment was a rare one and it was nice to be in the front row to watch this happen.

He raised his glass.." Godfather chairman you are a diamond among all of us. Not many can achieve what you did. May our future be as rich and tasteful as this day you prepared for us all. Congratulations to a truly great man!"

While Tobias finished his anniversary party he jumps as soon as he can to his brother party. They are very old friend and they have been together for so long. And still as handsome as he is he walk towards his old friend.

"what an achievement we made, 1 year in here, and we still in business"

He kisses Kharon's cheek.

"Congratulation brother, congratulation"

Lucy took up one of the offered drinks with a smile.  "Thank you."  She said to the man offering it.  Before being made she wouldn't have said much to a Godfather, what did some nobody like her have to say to someone of that standing?  But, today was different.  This was a celebration *AND* she was a made man now.  

"My sincere congratulations.  May you have many more anniversaries to come."  She said raising her glass towards Kharon.  With that she continued to mingle and enjoy the party.

Osiris was once again casually driving the streets when he saw Godfather Kharon delivering a speech. Another remarkable person reaching their anniversary. Osiris exited his vehicle and brought a case of goodies to Godfather Kharon's bodyguard.

"Give this to the Godfather please. And tell them congratulations!"

Scatman admires the gathering and grabs a glass of fizz as it goes past and holds it up

"Cheers to Kharon, congratulations on this milestone, well deserved"

Draining the glass Scatman wanders around to mingle, motioning to his favourite bodyguard to hand over his hip flask and get some more fizz

The wine was as fine as the evening and the food was a delight. Everyone was enjoying themselves, perfect way to kick off an anniversary.

Congratulations on your amazing achievement, Godfather Chairman. It is an accomplishment not many are able to obtain.

Congratulations on one year Kharon, an amazing achievement indeed! Raises a glass of wine.

Greasy struts himself back into his old HQ and grabs his glass of Prosecco from a tray as he takes a large swig and swishes it around to get the bacon out of his teeth.

"Thought you could get rid of me that easily, did you??  I wouldn't miss this one for the world my man Kharon !!  Y'know, I spent a lot of time here.  I pondered a lot of important things like how to properly bathe, and what animals are good for cuddling with when the Mrs. Greasy ain't around.  I also came to respect a man who I view as fair and protective.  I wouldn't be where I am without you!!  Congrats!!  Now, you got any bacon here?"

Greasy goes off to the party to find some deliciousness.

"Amazing event Kharon. Cheers on being a citizen of our land for tens times as long as I have"

Caine and Kharon shared a chuckle together

"I appreciate your effort to making LV a great place to be. Theres no place I'd rather be. More importantly, I appreciate you allowing me to take about 7 To Go plates for when I get the munchies tonight. You the best!"

Caine daps Kharon up and goes to order another drink

"Wow 2 one year anniversaries in the same week? This calls for a celebration!" She pops a bottle a champagne, narrowly missing Kharon's head. "Oh. My. God. I am soooo sorry. That was a close one! Here let me pour you a glass on this glorious of days." Mandy pours them both a glass, and knocks the two together. "Cheers! What an amazing achievement. Here is to many more years to come!" She raises her glass high then takes a sip.

Lacey flips through a calendar before arriving on the last day of the year.

"All of those days? My goodness, you are old Kharon."

Lacey smiles.

"Our families have worked together for generations and I'm quite pleased to see you reach this milestone. Congratulations to you."

MORBO CONGRATULATES NOT SO PUNY EARTHLING KHARON ON HER ACHIEVEMENT.

Seeing the drunken fool ramble on with no cohesion whatsoever Cletus snaps his fingers and two of his men come and drag the fool out to the trash where they belong.

"Sorry about that Kharon I thought our security would be a little better but don't let that deter you let's continue the celebration!"
