It was still early when Kharon woke up. He heard the rooster crowing and looked out of the window. It was still dark and he shouted names at the rooster for waking him up this early. He knew that trying to get more sleep was not going to happen. He decided to step out of bed and get dressed. 

On his way to the kitchen to get himself a nice cup of coffee, he walked by Greasy's study. At that moment - he got a big idea. In this early hour he and Greasy could go out in the desert and go hunting. Deciding on that, he opened Greasy's door and woke up Greasy.

"Hey man, you lazy bastard. Get out of that bed. You and me are going out hunting rabbits. Report to me within 5 minutes downstairs".

Kharon loved the scary face of Greasy when he woke up instantly and saw his boss at the end of his bed. He went to the kitchen and made some coffee while humming a song.  

Exactly 5 minutes later Greasy stormed into the kitchen and sat down at the kitchen table.

"Greasy reporting in. Ready to go".

Without turning around, Kharon started talking to Greasy.

"Well done man, I like you are always answering to my orders with the speed of a bullet. That shows a true gangster. Anyways, we are not going to hunt rabbits. It's not rabbit season yet. It's Duck season. But, there is something I want to discuss with you."

Greasy is happy his boss is smiling and didn't want to go out with him hunting rabbits. 

"Greasy, do you remember that big pig stall owned by Bill Doyle's brother, Jim? Jim decided he is too old for the job and wanted to sell the property. Bill told me about it, and I decided to buy the property. In my eyes, this would be a good opportunity to extend our business a bit more. This way we can also give more people jobs. We have to help more unemployed people to get a job. That's why I'm asking you to start today with this farm. Make it profitable and sell your product. What do you think about it?"

Kharon turned around and waited for Greasy's answer. When he saw Greasy's surprised face, Kharon was starting to doubt if he made the right decision about buying that pig stall. But then Greasy answered and Kharon didn't expect the immediate answer. 

"YES!! Of course!! I love it!!"

Greasy loved the idea of the farm - he longed for things being a little simpler and a little quieter.  The farm was a perfect place to build a business - and produce pounds and pounds of glorious bacon...

"Kharon,  I thank you for this opportunity and you won't regret it.  Never in a million years did I think that I would be taking these keys from you, but - I am happy to continue to build on the legacy that is Las Vegas."

Greasy walked off into the back of the barn and grabbed a jar of moonshine.  He took a swill and raised the jar up to his drunken forefathers.  He offered the jar to Kharon but he put his hand out and signaled he wasn't interested.  He had a celebration of his own that he had to save his old bones for... 

"You know, I've always been happy to be your soldier.  But, times have drastically changed here recently and it's time for me to evolve.  I've been a quiet man here, and I think that as I step into my role here as a leader I'm going to have to raise my profile here in these streets. We're open for business and communication is key!!  The infamous Chucky is joining me for the ride and I couldn't be happier!!  " 

Greasy sets down his mason jar and spraypaints a single word on an old piece of barnboard...

Bacon!!!
