There is this Game out called mafia II and its for pc,Ps3,and XBox 360. I think its based in the same era as MR and I thought since you guys like this game....You'd love this. Not advertising for it....just thought you all should know about it and check it out.

Actually Mafia 2 is based in the 1940's to 1950's and MR is based in the 1930's just thought I would clear that up.

1920's to 1930's as it covers prohibition.

If you want to be completely pedantic, which seems to be the trend, most historians would argue this is one era, with different periods therein.

The game, as far as I've heard, is incredible. It pays excellent atttention to detail in creating an engaging and authentic mid 20th century metropolis. The graphics look great, the soundtrack is appropriate and I haven't a bad thing about the overall gameplay.

Definitely one for the pre order list.

What I like is the fact that unlike other games if you get shot like 3 or 4 times you die. It adds a touch of realism no?

Operation Flashpoint did that. but it was more like 1 shot through :(
