Not sure if I'm the only one, but the 100% constant gray & black tone here really gets to my eyes after a while.

Would it be possible if we were able to choose our browsing color scheme? The gray can still work as the default, and for those who want it as the default can leave any other color options unselected, but just having an option available would really be nice.

For example, a neutral colorless theme akin to Google's seems, not only much more eye-friendly, but would really make the entire site come alive.

For anyone who's ever played the old mafia game, Global-Syndicate, you might know what I'm talking about. It had a plain, vibrant scheme that really set itself apart from MR and .org.

Great idea! I've gotten tired of the drabby grey myself from time to time. I'm glad someone has suggested it.

Sure, some people can argue that this is the 20s-30s mafia, but just because we roleplay in that era, doesn't mean we have to be shrouded in a grey world, too; even white would be nice.

I hope this is something that can be seriously considered.

Now that I think about it, I am getting tired of the grey colors. I would love to be able to change the colors to what I want!

There are plans in the works (from what I understand) even bigger than just a new skin, but will adress that issue as well. I look forward to seeing and officially hearing about these improvements myself!

From what I've heard the coders are working on a new skin for the site. Mafia isn't about colours or bells and whistles. It's not supposed to resemble Rainbow Brite's bedroom or a bowl of Lucky Charms.

Were things Technicolor in the 1920s and 1930's? No. They were not. The colour scheme is part of the role play.

Ultimately the layout and colour scheme are beginning to show their age.

The original colour scheme and layout was designed when, early 2000s? The internet has come on leaps and bounds since then and I would guess most new players, who really don't care about the role play on the whole, are more likely to be put off than encouraged.

tiggy no disrespect, but i'm pretty sure there life was in colour, even if the pictures weren't.

I don't mind the colour scheme, in fact, I quite like it, but I agree with Gwarble, new players would be put off by the drab, depressing black grey and white.
