So I checked the forum and noticed only once previously someone mentioned something about a calendar, that was for people to write notes on and things like that. Most of us have a calendar on our phones/cpu/laptops etc the particular calendar I was referring to was a Calendar of Events.

So for example

October - Halloween Event

December - Christmas Event

February - Valentine's Day Massacre

The above is just an example, the calendar could have things from events, to site maintenance, to game change/modification dates ETC.

Why is this beneficial? Well I know the above events were some of my favorite times in MR, the fact that I know they are coming up excites me, obviously the examples I used are holiday specific so its more, well obvious, but different events such as the Double XP contest we had and such. If people see things like that it would build anticipation and/or hype. Also for any returning players who happen to come onto the site just to lurk or check it out if they see a particular event or competition they like it may entice them to rejoin.

I don't see any downside or disadvantages to this. No coding is required, it'll just be a STICKY post in the News & Announcements section.
