An Eerie Wind in Chicago Started by: Clown on Sep 28, '17 18:07

The bells of a church just finished chiming at midnight in Chicago. A gust of wind howled down the empty streets, casting discarded newspapers down the street like tumble weeds in the desert. The wind was unusually cold, a slight taste of putrid flesh lingering in the breeze; leaving quite the bitter taste to the tongue and a slight sting to the eyes of the vagrants who suddenly feel the need to take shelter with the presence of such an uneasy feeling in the air.

CLUNK!

Unnoticed, a manhole cover in the middle of the street is lifted open from the underside and small tendrils of purple smoke begin to wander over the street, a pair of gloved hands can be seen clenching onto the rim of the grate. Out of the purple smoke, appears a pale white face and a orange frizzy hair that rounded the side of a rather unusually shaped, semi-bald head. Eerie yellow hues peer out the nearly empty street, scanning a moment before the frilly suited clown lifted himself out from the sewer.

CRASH! SMASH!

A lone vagrant, braver..er, stupider than the rest; takes a moment to look at his wine bottle before shattering it over the ground as it slipped from his grip clearly in disbelief of what he was seeing. Out of the pits of the city, from the gullet of filth and grime rose what can only be described as a gruesome mockery of a clown. Hideously cracked face paint, and thick red paint coated his lips in a sardonic, contorted grin then striped over his cheeks and eyes.

"Hehehee.. Soo beautiful. BEAUTIFUL!" Cackled the clown in the direction of the onlooking vagrant, his voice sounding like a whisping gas pipe that has been left on. "Tell them, go along, tell them! I'm baaack." A skin crawling giggling wandered off with the breeze as his message was given to the vagrants, spittle trickled from the corners of his lips.

He'd reach over his head, stretching a moment before his head  began to roll grotesquely far back before a beastly, guttural cry rang out in the empty street. Pigeons from the rooftops took off from the unholy din. The clown just smiled as he looked toward the very same vagrant, who now quivered in piss drenched trousers. He'd make his way to the vagrant, those ridiculously over-sized shoes smacking over the marred street.

SQUEAK, SLAP! SMACK. SQUEAK!

A skin crawling growl trembled within the confines of his chest as jagged teeth were bared. Several rows of crooked, chipped and jagged teeth began to appear as his jaw began to open. The vagrant was stuck, unable to move, paralyzed by fear. The terrified vagrant would only suffer a moment longer before the clowns jaws snapped, taking the vagrants head clean off the mans shoulders.

The clown swallowed and gave to a small burp before giggling softly. "Told you to tell every one.. Tsk tsk! Thanks for the snack, I guess."

As the clown continued down the street, the decapitated vagrant shook and quivered a moment before a shiny red balloon began to inflate out of the bleeding stump of his neck. The red balloon began to rise, a rainbow colored ribbon staying planted within the corpse as the balloon wavered over it.

IT's back.
