| Getting Sent For | Started by: Capazzo on Sep 30, '17 01:07 |

Capazzo was sitting down relaxing. It was a long few weeks, his best friend Seraph had retired and gone back to the old country and there was a big standoff with the Botticellis. Things had quieted down and for the first time in weeks Capazzo could sit back and actually relax, then without fail, like clockwork...there was a knock on the door. He got up and opened the door. There were two men at the door, both well dressed. He had seen these particular men at The Broadway Mob Headquarters, they definitely worked with Don Nikki_Swango & Cesare_Torretta at some capacity. "Damn." Capazzo immediately started thinking the worse. Was this a hit? Did someone set him up? Did he fuck up at the Botticelli Paint Job and piss off Don Nikki? He walked closer to the two men really unsure of how they would act or what they would say. He grasped his gun in his suit pants. If he had to go he'd be damn sure he'd take someone with him. Just then one of the men spoke. "Come with us. The boss lady wants to see you...NOW." SENT FOR, historically this was not a good sign, usually mafioso would get sent for by the boss when they fucked up and it would ultimately result in their death. Don Nikki SENT for HIM. Capazzo opened his closet door and took out a suit. He had a new suit never worn before and another that was only wore once for a few hours. He opted to go with the latter. The brand new suit was something he bought for his upcoming date with Wild_Kitten . He was not going to wear that, that was only for her, so he continued to get dressed with the other suit. "I can't believe it" Capazzo taught to himself. It was only a day or two ago he vowed to be more mature and give this mafioso thing a real shot. Capazzo quickly combed his hair. He signaled to the two men that he was done and they escorted him outside and into their own car. They began driving and Capazzo's sweat became more intense with each passing street. Suddenly the car abruptly halted. The car reached its stopping point. THE BROADWAY MOB HEADQUARTERS. Capazzo rearranged his tie and entered the building with the two men. This was it, his last moments. He was walking into Headquarters but no doubt he wouldn't be leaving on his own two feet, definitely not breathing. Did he piss off the wrong person? Did Capazzo say the wrong thing to the wrong guy at the wrong moment. He did tend to be outspoken and out there especially after midnight, after midnight at the crew headquarters were turning into some memorable evenings. Did he go overboard? Too far? One of the men knocked and very calmly and clearly the voice on the other side said 'come in'. The two men in suits at this point looked at Capazzo and they nodded to him. They knew what was coming but Capazzo had no idea. He thought should he run? No, do what was the right thing, he thought. Do the honorable thing, if this was his time then so be it. This thing he was part of had a honor code and he was going to follow it to the tee, while living and even when facing inevitable death. The Broadway Mob is his family, Don Nikki has done so much for him. Capazzo was forever loyal to this place, it was a honor to be a part of something so amazing and a place filled with so many talented and special people from top to bottom and although this could've very well been the end he still respected this thing. Capazzo finally entered the room to see three fellow wiseguys there all sitting in their chairs nervously. Then he looked at his Don. Don Nikki smiles as Capazzo sat down. The Don begins to speak and then suddenly it HITS Capazzo what this was......

Cesare made his way through the congratulatory crowd towards the man of the hour. "Capazzo!" he said enthusiastically as the new suit turned to face him, Cesare pulled him in for a hug, "I'm proud of you, kid, you've been doing great work for us. What with that betting office you've got going and that business with the Botticellis, believe me when I tell you that I'm surprised it took them this long to open the books for you." Cesare motioned for Ricardo who handed him an envelope. Cesare held it up between them, "Now this isn't my gift, this is just something small to say 'nice job kid' I've got something real special lined up." he looked around at the crowd as he handed over the envelope, "Well, I won't take up much more of your time Cap, enjoy the party! And stop by my place under the theater any time, your first drink is on me." |
