Looking out the window with the champagne still flowing into his mouth, Michael could just make out the small orange glow of a fire that seemed to have started on a rather impressive yacht. As he set the drink down, other diners started to gather around the window to look out. As Michael squinted he could make out the figure of a man aflame flailing around the railing of the ship. Michael's hands gripped his napkin and he dabbed his lips as the man fell to the deck and rolled around in an attempt to extinguish himself.

"Huh..." Michael mused as the man fell into the lake off the yacht deck.

CRACK!

The gathering of diners and Abbey all looked sharply at Michael, who was holding a freshly snapped snow crab leg.

"Darling, you have to try this crab it's-" Michael looked up to see all the eyes staring at him, "...what?"

With the sun's golden hues reflecting on Lake St. Clair's tranquil waters, Felix stepped onto a sleek, small yacht, his anticipation mingling with a sense of history. The breeze carried whispers of past events, the most notable being the infamous cruise ship fire that had once engulfed the waters in chaos, leaving a haunting legacy.

As the yacht's engine hummed to life, Felix couldn't help but glance towards the horizon where the memories of that fateful blaze lay buried. The charred remnants of the past were a stark contrast to the vessel he now stood on – a beacon of hope and renewed possibilities.

Navigating the calm waters, Felix's gaze shifted from the expanse of the lake to the present task at hand – meeting his client. The ride seemed to be quite turbulent, a mirror of his journey from ex-con to a legitimate businessman.

The yacht's motion was a rhythmic reminder of his resilience and transformation. Amidst the gentle waves, he prepared to engage in discussions that held the potential to shape his future. The echoes of the past mingled with the promises of the present, a testament to the ever-changing tides of life.

As he neared the designated rendezvous point, Felix's thoughts briefly flickered to the mobsters who had once populated these waters. Their tales, like ghostly whispers, served as a cautionary tale of the choices that could be made. But Felix was determined to craft a different narrative, to leave his mark on Lake St. Clair as a symbol of redemption and reinvention.
