The sounds of crashing waves and ship's fill the air, a faint smell of sea salt graces your nose. In front of you, as you walk off the dock and into the streets you see a relatively tall man, Zig-Zag, resting against his car. Calmly, but deliberately, Zig-Zag takes a cigarette out of his shiny stainless steal case, and lights it while you watch. His eyes never leave yours as he breaths the smoke in deep, and then exhales. Finally, he speaks. You're interested in becoming a big thing in this world? Well, what's your cover story? You can't just walk around being all macho saying you're a mafia Gangster. What's your gig, kid? Me? I'm a Business Contractor over at the Jackle's Gaming Commission, I start and sell businesses. I make a decent living at that. Our fine lawyers at McTavish and Axe Law Firms (BadAss Inc.) help us out of some tight spots from time to time. Oliver McTavish? He's the Big Wig over at McTavish And Axe Law Firms (BadAss Inc.). But, behind all of that is the hidden stuff, kid. BadAss Inc. is booked as a Corporate Financial And Personal Law Firm, that's a big mouthful, but, don't worry yourself with that anyway. Behind it all is where the real money comes. It's a mob family, kid. That's right Mr. McTavish is really Don Oliver McTavish, My name? You don't need my real name, call me Zig-Zag, Zippy, Ziggy, any of those work. BadAss Inc. launders money from their more, how should I put this, "unconventional" practices, and pays their "employees" decent wages to do just that. That's how we survive. We don't speak like hoodlums, we talk like the average Joe. We don't flaunt our guns in public, we do it on dark nights when noone's around. Sometimes war breaks out between families. This is difficult to hide from cops, but, we handle that easily with underhanded bribes and threats to our more money hungry, and fearful, respectively, civil servants. That's how we handle things around here. So, before you go carrying on with talking about being a mobster, I'd suggest you get yourself a job at one of these fine corporations, it's good pay, kid. Don't worry, you don't need a law degree over at BadAss Inc. we've got the BAR Association on our pay roll, no one will ever deny that you are, in fact, a lawyer. |
