Hello everyone.  The last three weeks have been quite confusing for a lot of people and here we are finally reaching the clear for the eight cities.  This last war took a heavy toll on all of us and in the midst of it I had to leave a position as Colin's RHM which I valued immensely to help ensure our survival.  The fallout of the war has been many dead, including two Godfathers, and many moves being made throughout the cities as a result.  In the interest of honesty I am going to let the folks who are confused in on the goings on behind the scenes of this war.

Late Wednesday, Philadelphia was attacked by New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and New Orleans for the reasons TheDean had listed yesterday.  I immediately flew from my city and killed CantThinkOfAName and went on to set up as a Crewleader after seeing in Colin's personals that he had protection after an Odin wackback.  My efforts to get Godfather to help even the odds were temporarily thwarted when Odin moved to New Orleans and got it ahead of me.  From there I felt we might've been screwed in the overall war effort but a surprising move and contribution from JesseJames who had previously been in LA had renewed our hope that this wasn't over.  By this point Colin was on and shooting and I had moved to Chicago and gotten Godfather.  I can't stress enough that this wouldn't have been possible without the tireless efforts from Grin and Pipoca whose drive to see Colin through this war at the very least matched mine.  Once I got Godfather, people seemed to back off a bit, and I was able to recollect my thoughts on a course of action.  I started a dialogue with Evangeline (who had by then moved to Detroit and been annointed Godfather) during the war to see if she would be interested in helping me swing the tides to our advantage as I had previously gotten a statement in our war room of when DonPardo's protection time ran out.  She agreed to help us and while I stayed in Chicago so as to not tip anyone off that we knew, Evangeline flew to Los Angeles and killed their Godfather.

I knew at that point the losses were adding up and I decided to run a gambit play and approach TheDean with a request that he act neutrally in the remainder of the war and we would not shoot New York members to make it an even deal.  After New York's agreement to neutrality which I assume came from TheDean's desire to be sure his people saw the war through safely and as he had stated in his speech, his respect for the amount of effort people put in for Colin, the war on Philadelphia came apart at the seems.  At this point, Colin and I knew victory was almost assured.  With the amount of guns we still had left, and JesseJames set up under me in Chicago, the war was about as close to a lock as we could have hoped for at that point.  After another hour or so, TheDean approached me to guage my interest in making a pact with Odin to have him leave the war as he wanted to see what Odin could accomplish as Godfather because he believed the new leader had a lot to offer.  I consulted with Colin and he told me it was okay to give a go-ahead to the peaceful conclusion with New Orleans.  Odin left the fray on the understanding that he would kill any Philadelphia defectors he may have picked up during the war.  A little while later, I was in contact with Odin who requested that we spare the life of Diablos who would surrender and move into New Orleans with him to work as his Underboss.  Colin and I agreed on the stipulation that we get a list of his crew to search for any Philadelphia defectors or anyone who had been particularly nasty to us during the war.  The other condition was that Odin for Diablos' survival was to dispose of Sc0pe_D0pe (sic?), who we viewed as the person who spearheaded New Orleans involvement in the war and for his own attacks on The Roman Legion.

After Odin and Diablos left the war, all that was left were Paul_Vidi and Cruel and a smattering of unsponsored Los Angeles members.  TheDean contacted me again telling me that Cruel and PV were both interested in surrendering as the people who had started the war for them were now dead or gone.  Colin, Grin, and I spoke with both PV and Cruel privately about the terms of their surrender.  To their credit, both men were willing to die for their families' safety, and in offering their own heads on behalf of their respective crews, they earned our respect.  The terms for surrender were the death of several of their members by us who we would have killed anyway regardless of surrender.  Both PV and Cruel were also asked to join me in Chicago to help build back up what was torn down from the war.  The leaders readily agreed and now here they are with me, and I am looking forward to our future together.

There will be a great deal of new changes in the city that our folks will come across in the next few days, and after speaking about them to JJ and Cruel, I believe they will be very successful.  The first of which, should come as no surprise.  JesseJames, a man who joined forces with Philadelphia when all seemed lost, will assume the role of Underboss in Chicago.  I can think of no one I can trust more than a person who saw a lost cause in a war and decided to jump in the trenches at our side anyway.

The second of which is this, which I figure I'll get out of the way now, if it's reported that any Chicago folks are pickpocketing people that do not have consent listed on their person, the punishment will be swift.  I'm hoping our people pickpocket a lot, just not those that don't want it.

Finally, a lot of people are wondering about my ties with Colin.  I'll make it very clear to everyone, especially the folks in Chicago... Colin's word should be considered the same as mine.  If orders are given in my absence by Colin to Chicago members, follow them.  I consider Colin a brother and my beacon on what to do.

I hope this has answered a few questions as to the workings of war, and I look forward to working with all the Godfathers in the future to help rebuild what has been lost.

I appreciate having a behind-the-scenes look of what went on during the war.  Many good mobsters went down in the past several days and this helps clear up a bit of the confusion for us "lowly" gangsters.  Hats off to you Godfather Roman...

Great speach Godfather Roman, it is always interesting to listen to a Godfather view of what went on. It is good to be back to Chicago, my bloodline has worked here several times and i am looking foward to continu on working in this fine city!

Everyone most specially the youngster such as me is very happy to hear this announcement, for many have been hurt for the decision of everyleaders of the city for the last few weeks and to the event that happend to our society, many of us youngster now  is asking to many question, where is the protection some other family offered before they come in into their family. Many promises has been broken but still the kin of their family still keeps coming back to our society looking forward if those promises will come true someday, hoping that someday all their work will be more fruitful in time comes, some of us youngster wanted some protection for they know someday they are the one that will protect the family they have grown up, many of us youngster cannot understand anymore the elders ,how they work, how they decide. youngster specially at street will not be heard they will just whine in street moan for justice but no one comes to them and tell them "Come with me i will tell you everything you want to know, why that had happend, why that was not right  to do, why that in this society only people with balls will leave and the others will be silence forever till all their kins will not come back here and will just vanish in the midst of the air". Instead some will just laugh at them. does any of the leaders have talk to their members and ask what is their greatest dream? every leaders is a father to their family and sometimes they should act as one, the more the youngster see his fahter really is the more they will want to come back to them and show their respect to them ,the more they wanted to be with them forever, even if their kin decided to comes back here they will look for them coz they know that this father is not just a leader but a friend, a father, most specially a protector of their family. even in the midst of the darkness of this family he will continue to serve them, will never leave them nor betray them coz he knows he can help to make the family go back to their normal lives and business.

But then again we salute you Godfather Roman for telling us everything we wanted to know.

It has been a tough time here in the last few weeks, I find it refreshing that you have came forward and explained the in's and out's of this latest epic volume in the history of la cosa nostra. Kudos to you godfather Roman and hopefully things will now settle across these great cities.

It's been a testing time for all.

I thank you Godfather for your words. It has become more apparent over recent times that such reporting on the causes, effects and aftermath of any major conflict are common place. I personally think that in such cases were doubt exists from all ranks as to the reasons, that this is a necessity. In instances where doubt is allowed to grow after such events, there is always the possibility of certain individuals who will cultivate such feelings into that of misguided retribution.

As you say, the losses suffered were at all levels, and to lose members whose input into the shaping and hopeful future of this thing of ours, is a particularly sad event.

I would also like to say that the communication between the heirarchy during the conflict in order to stem any further losses and to agree terms for peace, I am sure is particularly appreciated by many members of our society. It is always encouraging to see that the diplomatic channels are still open even during times of such bitter conflicts.

It is also good to hear of the relationship that has been forged between the City`s of Philadelphia and Chicago, and the obvious respect between the leaders. This can only serve to increase the levels of business between these two cities, and the commercial district as a whole.

I hope that the immediate future will be that of growth, and stability. If only to provide our world with the Leadership structures necessary to meet the challenges that lie ahead.

Michael was strolling the streets as he heard the familiar voice of one of the Godfathers. It was the newest one, Godfather Roman. He didn't know him well but a speech given by a Godfather definitely doesn't go without notice. 

Not knowing much about the situation, was out of the country for buisness relations up north. Anyways I'd just like to say, this clears a lot up. This is actually very refreshing. Knowing what truely went down and how things went.

I cannot thank Godfather Roman enough for the opportunity he has given me.  The amount of faith you have put in me speaks numbers in itself.  I assure you these responbilities will be taken seriously, and you will not be disappointed by your decision.


As Godfather Roman has already stated.  There will be several things that will be done quite differently.  It will take a period of adjustments for both the city of Chicago and Philadelphia.  This will be a system that will guarantee success.  As anything worthwhile it will not be easy, as there will be a learning curve.  Through good communication and hardwork it will be accomplished.  


I look forward to working with not only Chicago and Philadelphia, but the community as a whole.

I too would like to thank Godfather Roman for giving me, my captain and our members a chance to continue business in Chicago. When peace talks were being held it seemed Las Vegas were pretty much doomed but he was kind enough to let us live. I look forward to working with the chicago and philly leaders to help build two strong stable cities and to repay the fisth he has shown in me as a leader.

You know Roman this would be perfect to say that Sc0pe_D0pe spear headed the war efforts on Philadelphia, but you're wrong. Immensely wrong and you're right hand man Grin knows that for a fact.

My Grandfather Sc0pe_D0pe woke up and came to find everyone was warring Philadelphia. Orders from TheDean whom of which had ownership of New Orleans, so for Odin to decide his fate was completely ignorant already, but I expect nothing less from his bloodline. Anyway, TheDean told my grandfather he was to go to Philadelphia and shoot bodyguards, however, he went back to bed while his co-leader Magua went to the war fronts and followed orders.

So to set the record straight, TheDean ordered New Orleans leaders: Sc0pe_D0pe and Magua, to go to Philadelphia and shoot Gwarbles bodyguards. However that didn't quite happen that way. So before you go out making accusations you obviously know nothing about like some civilian at least make a half decent attempt to not look like a blabbering fool. Then again that might be a bit hard for you.

So, looks like you deserved to die for not listening to TheDean when he ordered you, a leader under his command to do something and you decided to 'go back to bed'.

The Knight lets a piece of paper flutter to the sidewalk, showing the words "Aug 05, '10 00:41:28 You witnessed d_0cs0peep attempt to WACK! One" before quickly stooping over to pick it up and tuck it back into his chain mail.

"The late Sc0pe certainly had quite thee shot for a squire whose relatives doth proclaim he was fast asleep in his chambers."

The Knight pauses, bowing his head in respect toward the gathered crowd.

"Pardon my intrusion, for I am but an honourable Knight. A Knight who doth live to serve and to protect the truth of these lands."

Hmmm do you think he may have awoken later or did you struggle to possibly grasp that concept? I'll go for number two just to save time.

Nontheless, Sc0pe didn't lead any sort of attack. He followed orders and got fucked over for absolutely no reason. However later on in a coffeeshop Odin openly admitted to both Asylum and Magua the reason behind Sc0pe's death was purely because Roman "Didn't like him." Nothing more, nothing less. That's a reason to kill, right? I mean I'd be cool with standing by as long as he at least had the balls to say so.

I would even go as far as to say D0pe_Sc0pe was a further threat after the war!  I mean if you look at all the behind the scenes action a lot of peace was made between leaders, but did D0pe approach me or Colin?  No!  It is very clear to me that is the act of an aggressor!  I spoke to Odin, I spoke to Diablos, I spoke to TheDean, I spoke to Cruel and Mr. Vidi.  Not once did D0pe come to the old Roman Empire and say, "Man, I'd really like peace!"  As far as I was aware he was still a threat to either myself or my sweet Colin.  It's not my fault D0pe acted with hostility to Philadelphia, these were all decisions made by one man.  D0pe.  He died with his consequences.  But I like your fire Assylum... If I wasn't full up I'd throw an invite your way, I imagine I'd be quite thrilled with someone who can top himself off at Capo.
