Trapped. Senka dug her nails into the dresser that she was hanging onto. Her breath was caught in her throat and all she could see was his eyes in the mirror looking back at her. Oh how she could always look at them for awhile. They were the eyes that kept her up late into the night and caused early mornings.  Her hands shook with his betrayal that she could feel deep into her bones.  Her hands shook and she gripped tighter to the surface in front of her.

Rage. It boiled up in her stomach. The acid began to crept upwards the longer she thought of him. There was nothing that she could do to stop it. He was right there, standing in the mirror and staring straight back at her. The devil that held her captivated and she felt the strongest urge to vomit. If for no other reason then to release the rage. It boiled her blood.

Panic. This was it. This was all it was every going to be. Him and her, forever in this glass. The very thought that this was all she was ever going to be and have ate at her. The panic rose in her mind. It started out small until she was soon clawing at her cheeks and praying for any release from the demon that was standing there laughing.

Shatter. Without thinking, without knowing what she was doing, she broke the mirror. Watching him shatter into the many little shards lifted her from the trap that she was in. A heavy weight lifted and once again she was free.

Dog is going about his day collecting envelopes from betas when he comes across the shadowy figure of a woman obviously experiencing some intense internal struggle. Being that Dog is trained as an emotional support animal, he tries to approach her slowly in order to administer comfort. As he is nearing her, however, a loud smashing sound can be heard--with no apparent source--startling Dog into retreat.
