Are we Mafia? Started by: Dr-Scrote on Aug 12, '10 02:19

The Doctors sack had by now reached epic proportions. Nevertheless, he still managed to manoeuvre himself and associated appendage in front of the gathered masses........

I hear the words whinging and whining a little too much nowadays. I get the feeling we may have people in our midst unable to come to terms with the life we lead. Or unaware of the things that must be done to survive. Whether you are your ancestor incarnate, or have no idea what you`ve let yourself in for, there`s a ladder to start climbing. Don`t even think about whether you`ve a head for heights or not, because the moment you do is the moment your world will end. It could end in a variety of ways, from a quiet whisper in your ear, to something more elaborate which will probably surprise you as to the levels of pain the human body can endure. Either way, fuck up and you die.

I`d like to remind them of what being part of this thing is really about, maybe this is what is needed to shut their tiny little holes in their pretty little faces. The following is a taste of what I do........

Washing my hands of the dried on blood after peeling the remains of a young kid from under my car. All because they got in the way of a bank job...............is my life.

The feeling you get when you know what the guy`s face is going to look like when the bat strikes.........is my life.

To hear the screams for mercy as the drill goes through another tooth.........is my life.

The sound of an elbow being forced back so much it breaks......is my life.

The smell from the trunk of a car in the Philadelphia summer......knowing exactly what lies dead inside......is my life.

To see the kids of a young mother cry from hunger pains as I sell their mom another shot.............

is my life.

To dismember someone for the pleasure of your Boss, and throwing the arms into the doorway of a rival family........is my life.

To witness the pleasure of an associate as he ends the life of a Fed......is my life.

And to offer yourself to the family you are in, regardless of the consequences. To do whatever is asked of you, to stand shoulder to shoulder with the Men and Women you would gladly lay your life down for...........is my life.

I do what I do. I am what I am. I belong to the Mafia.

What is your life?

Alabama stands on the street corner smoking a cigarette, when all of a sudden she spots a familiar face stand out from the crowd, giving some sort of speech on his life

Well Dr, I cant help but feel a little Deja Vu from your comments there. Have you given this speech before? Seems awfully familiar to me.

I dont rightly know the ins and outs of this Mafia life you talk of, I'm but a simple lady walking these lonely streets, but you do seem to make a lot of sense there. Surely if one was to live the life of a mafioso, they'd be above such moaning and groaning about the way they live that life? Afterall, they chose to live it!

I can almost fathom the anger some folks may feel when entering that life, if they've done so due to the loss of a parent, but even then they are choosing to follow in their parents footsteps, so wouldn't it be smarter to keep quiet and exact your revenge on whomever did wrong by you, than to speak out and draw attention to yourself?

Again, i'm just making observations and guesses.. Clearly I know nothing of that life.

Anyway. I just thought i'd give you my two cents. Have a good evening Dr.

No offense, (you'll probably be offended anyway) But you sound a little pyschopathic than mafia.

You are wrong. That isn't mafia. That is some ragtag freelance hitters life and frankly it sickens me if anyone thinks thats how I should be leading my life.

So, what should be 'your life'? Simple. Whatever your Boss tells you to do. Family is your life. The be all and end all of everything you do here. Not taking joy from shooting some bastard in the face. Although you get a little tingle from it you still do it for a reason. You do it to help the family. If you go running round with your coc..Gun in your hand blasting every fucker in sight then the law will be down on your and your associates like a tonne of bricks and frankly thats bad for business.

So while trying to be smart and claiming that you know what this so called 'Mafia' is. You actually got it wrong in quite a major way. In my opinion. Which is right. Otherwise I wouldn't voice it.

Sigh it seems like we have a case of psychotics or sadists in out midsts Genie my son.

If that is your life, good on you son. I can earn a little experience every day busting you and your buddys out of prison because lets be honest that is where you will be spending a good deal of your time.

A wise mobster knows only to use violence to the absolute minimum because violence brings heat from the law and heat from the law is bad for business. Either we have to line the pockets of the police to keep our boys out of prison or they end up inside and we have to work extra hard to take up their rounds to ensure money keeps flowing to the boss.

You see my boys this thing of ours is about earning money, money for us and money for our bosses. Anything that harms our ability for earn is bad for business.

The "life" you have chosen is far different from mine.  And I agree with those who say the life you described has nothing to do with the mafia.  More like the life of a hitman; somebody hired by the boss to break some legs but not destined to ever make anything more of himself.  You should strive to be better than that.

And frankly, the life of a mafioso should never be so public.  You're going to come out to the streets and tell the world what it is you do?  That's the quickest way to bring the heat.

Your life is violent.  I, myself, am a business man.  A legitimate business man.

Sounds to me like someone's Boss doesn't like them very much, asking them to do all the grizzly jobs that attract attention to the person carrying out the deeds. This is otherwise known as the "fall guy". Enjoy that fall homez.

Thankyou all for your comments.

You are wrong. That isn't mafia. That is some ragtag freelance hitters life and frankly it sickens me if anyone thinks thats how I should be leading my life.

I would not be so bold as to influence the way anyone leads their life. Should a choice be made that is more akin to a desk, clean spats and a pedicure, then so be it. Who am I to tell them otherwise.

Ragtag freelance hitters as you describe them are nothing more than homeless assasination whores. I agree that we are above that level, well above, and everything I do is for family and honour.

So, what should be 'your life'? Simple. Whatever your Boss tells you to do. Family is your life. The be all and end all of everything you do here.

I think I pretty much said the same thing.

So while trying to be smart and claiming that you know what this so called 'Mafia' is. You actually got it wrong in quite a major way.

I made no such claims, my statement was relative to my life only. I was born smart unfortunately.

A wise mobster knows only to use violence to the absolute minimum because violence brings heat from the law and heat from the law is bad for business.

I agree, providing there is something for the heat to pick up on. It is also true that a good mobster knows how to cover their tracks, together with the knowledge of evidence suppression.

And I agree with those who say the life you described has nothing to do with the mafia.  More like the life of a hitman; somebody hired by the boss to break some legs but not destined to ever make anything more of himself.  You should strive to be better than that.

It is a fact among our society that certain “jobs” are undertaken by associates such as myself. I do hope to make my bones one day and become a member of the family to which I am associated. In the meantime, I will continue carrying out the orders I receive, in the hope that I may be considered honourable enough to be included within the family structure proper.

And frankly, the life of a mafioso should never be so public.  You're going to come out to the streets and tell the world what it is you do?  That's the quickest way to bring the heat.

I would very much hope that there is no heat present at the street gatherings. I understood that they were considered very much “outsiders”. Unless of course we have a few loose tongues about the place, in which case that may be considered a family issue. These words are, and should always be, for our society only.

Sounds to me like someone's Boss doesn't like them very much, asking them to do all the grizzly jobs that attract attention to the person carrying out the deeds. This is otherwise known as the "fall guy". Enjoy that fall homez.

I do hope not Sir. I would be most disappointed at this stage in my life. I would like to think that my cleaning is as efficient as my executions.

I blame the War.

Justice stands there puzzled

I can't lie I did laugh at pUcky's witty comeback. Anyways...Dr-Scrote, you said "what's your life?" I can summarize this in very few words. My life is my life. I create the path for myself and my future bloodline reguardless if it is bad or good. Now,Mr.Death do you have slipths by chance? The word is someone not sssssomeonessss. I know someone that can fix that for you.

Report Post Tip

It's kinda hard not being able to do so....I also love how you bring rank into this little convo between us gentlemen. I think, I shall be the bigger man and walk away from this because if you can't handle a simple converstation over a remark which really holds no insult at all then make a comment about ones rank it just shows you can't honestly hold your own ground. Good day sir and I'm done with this converstation. If you happen to wish to continue please write me and we can meet up somewhere discuss things somewhere else. Once again I bid you farewell and the best of wishes.

Justice tips his hat and walks off

Report Post Tip

If he where capable of genuinely smiling he would do so at the thought of getting under Justice's skin. His well placed reference had merely been to remind Justice that his comments on a Capo's accent had marked him as anything but a gentleman, and unfortunately for Jezebel's young neonyte, neither was the Judge.

Thanksss

Death melted back into the shadows and withdrew to his crypt to contemplate who to rob next.
